Continuing with furniture designed specifically for use in administering corporal punishment - mainly on BDSM style sites - we have some slightly more unusual examples.
This is a fascinating design from Lupus Pictures forcing the subjects to remain in what is popularly called the diaper position. It is highly exposing and humiliating as well as being very uncomfortable. It looks as if they're being made to endure that discomfort lying on the hard wooden base with their legs spread high in the air for a long period. Their bottoms are also totally vulnerable, especially the lower more sensitive parts plus, if a very flexible instrument like a strap of flogger is to be used then it's quite likely to strike them in their bottom crack or on their pussy. All in all, it's hard to imagine a more shaming and vulnerable device and even 'though they can see exactly what is about to happen they aren't going to be able to move at all.
A lot of BDSM involves the subject begin tied and suspended and often the methods used actually impede the application of a punishment to her bottom - not in this case provided again by HerFirstPunishment. Although she's likely to swing around a bit, she can't really control the movement to gain any advantage and it probably just means the whip is going to strike some very vulnerable places. She can then also be left there for some time after the whipping is ended.
Another popular theme for BDSM furniture is to have the subject seated on top of an edge to spread her legs - often the top edge is quite sharp to make them really uncomfortable, but many of those actually impede anyone trying to whack the subject's bottom. This device from SpankingServer has the girl also tipped forward and solidly secured leaving her bottom totally accessible and vulnerable. The padding would allow her to be kept waiting for some time contemplating the fate about to befall her.
Two views this time of a devilish device created by Infernal restraints. The girl is totally immobile and the harshness of the rigid wood will hold her securely and painfully unable to move at all. Interestingly, once she is locked in place someone else could enter the room and administer her beating without her being able to see her tormenter at all. In fact, the punisher would also be unable to see her face so could potentially be thrashing someone he actually knows without realising it. Finally, if someone decides to engage in a little bastinado the girl will be perfectly placed for that as well as a more conventional thrashed bottom.
Rather unusual materials used this time in this cunning piece of furniture from DeviceBondage. It appears to be largely based on something akin to scaffolding joints offering a great deal of customisation to make it fit the girl tightly and in just the right places. This is then enhanced by her head being in a box with a hinged lid so that - as in the previous case - she could be locked into place and then the lid closed so that she and her punisher could not see each other's faces. I imagine it would be terrifying to be locked in, the lid closed and then hear receding footsteps and just wait, and wait, and... eventually hear a creaking floorboard and know that it's about to begin - you are tightly tethered and powerless and extremely vulnerable.
If you want your subject in a traditional touch-toes position but know they're no good at keeping still, this simple device from Hogtied could be just the answer. Simplicity is the key although it doesn't do anything to stop the subject bending her knees except for the threat of extra strokes of that cane if they do.
This very heavy looking piece of furniture also looks to hold the subject very securely and allow very little movement. It is clearly designed to be used in a variety of ways but this particular use looks very uncomfortable and present the bottom very nicely for something like a cane.
And last for this part of the report is another heavyweight piece of furniture - this time from Hogtied. The subject is held both securely and uncomfortably and can't turn her head to see who is about to do what to her nicely presented bottom.

Clearly you have to cover all this type of furniture but I must be honest it is not to my taste. Seems cruel to me.

When sister & me gotten a "switching" from our God-fearing mom with the dreaded whippy, rattan cane, back at home in the 1960s, we did not have spanking furniture, and we did not get spanked naked...although our bottoms were always completely bare of course (goes without saying, I guess)
Our mother's ample lap/OTK provided the "furniture". Oh my ! She fetched the cane and then we gotten to put our hands on our heads in the living room. She pulled down our shorts to our knees and then our cotton white undies to expose our alabaster-white botties. Mother then took my lil' sis across her knee, securing her strongly already.
Her rattan switch then peppered that sensitive, porcelain -white skin relentlessly with light flicks which created an unbearable sting and a scarlet surface ! She ignored my sister's screams. This was just a loving, religious mother's firm, harmless discipline. Then it was my turn for a whooping already.
Soon we graduated to proper furniture aka the sofa ! We had to bend our bare botties over the sofa arm to receive a mother's chastisement. Later, as a strict, spanker-mom myself, with my own two daughters, (born mid-1980s) I punished them exactly the same - I fetched the cane and I always bared their bums. Spanking bare hiney skin with "the rod of correction" is the only kind, effective and harmless way to do it in my book...and advocated in the Christian family values/tradition. That was the punishment !
As a strict,loving mom I did not tolerate PC or wishy-washy nonsense !
Just traditional Southern values which were common and normal.
