Returning to an earlier theme...

I posted once before on this subject but had to revisit it.

The number of ordinary people at the very least willing to allow someone to give them a good smack, and at times seeming to actively encourage people to give them a good hard spanking, and, moreover happy for the resulting images to be posted publicly on the Internet is truly amazing.

However, what to me seems all the more remarkable are their reactions. Some seem unperturbed at people seeing that they appear to actively enjoy the experience. Others seem genuinely surprised to discover that it hurts! Perhaps people are increasingly unlikely to have had first-hand or even second-hand experience of corporal punishment while growing up but even so, would you not imagine that exposing your backside to being hit with a long implement delivered with some force might actually hurt? So why do so many of them seem to be surprised...?

My favourite fantasy...

I have had an interesting response posted on my last entry surrounding a story I wrote a long time back. It made me start to think more about the varieties of media we use in the CP scene. At one level video is the most powerful, then images and then text based stories. However, on another level, the "old" text based approach has some advantages - it allows the writer not to describe things too much and therefore to leave the reader to imagine what the girl looks like, what the surroundings are like, how she's dressed and so on. There can be a few pointers, but the reader inserts their own preferences in a way that can't be done in photo-stories and videos. Let's consider what might be my ideal scenario for example.

I guess for me the ideal fantasy surrounds an attractive looking girl, tending towards the sweet and innocent rather than “in your face” sexy. I’d tend to dress them as I see schoolgirls dressing today. That seems to be largely white or pale blue blouse/shirt and maybe a blazer and loosely knotted tie, over either a pair of buttock hugging trousers or very short grey/black/navy skirt over black tights and flat shoes. I can stretch to bare legs with a short skirt in the summer and maybe white ankle-socks but I can’t believe that schoolgirls have worn stockings and suspenders or high heel shoes for school for rather a long time and the stories that work best for me are ones where I see a girl in the street on her way to school and wonder “just suppose that had happened to her…” I also consequently favour minimal jewellery and makeup and I’m really not into tattoos and piercings.

I like to see them before the offence, to get an idea of what they're like, committing the offence so we know why they are to be punished, getting lectured, getting punished and then reflecting afterwards. As we're talking of a school setting, it's likely to be a cane, slipper, ruler or strap - just maybe the hand. It's not likely to involve dropping trousers or knickers - it just might, at a push, involve bending over and showing her knickers. It doesn't involve a warm-up process of gradually moving towards the serious part of the punishment - schools weren't interested in "warming-up" - they were interested in punishing hard. Of course, in the aftermath, we may get to see the marks on her bottom as she examines the damage in the sanctuary of the loo or her bedroom...

Now of course I’d get bored with no variations and therefore there is a skill in coming up with credible stories that cause the girl to be differently dressed – sports events, fancy dress, coming home late from a party, screwing up at work, just plain annoying her boyfriend and so on.

The key things, is that although I expect people reading this blog have some interest in CP (if not, you've wandered into the wrong place...) yet probably everyone reading would either reject that fantasy completely or would want to make changes for their ideal. Let's keep getting the great photo and video stuff, but let's not neglect the old story telling as well - it gives us all a chance to add our own imagination to the scene.
