Favourite for February

Having launched the short series of my personal favourites last month I have come across a number more that have always pressed some buttons for me and I think I'll aim to post one every month for a little while to come.February's offering, I think, was advertising a film or early video. Because it wasn't part of a photo-story I could just my imagination loose on it and it wasn't hard to do. The girl just happened to look like a girl called Jackie who I'd become very friendly with at school. However it never really became a full-blown boyfriend/girlfriend relationship because she had some important exams coming up and her father decided she wasn't applying herself enough to study at school. As a result he sent her two evenings a week to a private tutor which left too little time for us to see much of each other. The idea that a private tutor might employ methods like this to a lazy teenage girl to get her to concentrate more on her studies and that Jackie might have found herself in this position certainly got my imagination working overtime.
