Furniture (Part 4)

Now we move to the deliberately designed spanking furniture and I realise that this takes us more towards the BDSM end of the scale, and indeed many of the most interesting designs come very much from that world, and it may not be to the taste of everyone frequenting this blog.

We start in the world of the awfully nice people at Spanking Server/Pain4Fem with their take on a whipping bench - you will see that the bench is nicely padded for the comfort of the subject or so that nothing distract from the pain in the subject's bottom as it is caned.  Amy Hunter looks as beautiful as ever and the cane marks nicely illustrate that the bench presents the whole area of the subjects bottom to be dealt with.  it is interesting to note that there are wrist restraints but no ankle restraints' however with the front end of the bench sloping downwards, once secured by the wrists, the subject would be very effectively immobilised and powerless. 

A rather different piece of kit from Caned4Cash but again it's been thoughtfully padded.  Hand grips are provide and there is a nice little platform for the feet but securing the subject is largely unnecessary as, once they're in place, they will not find it easy to move very much at all.  The slight raising of the subject's bottom will probably mean that a high proportion of cane strokes will land on the lower half of the buttocks and to the tops of the thighs. 

Another nicely padded piece of furniture being used by Dallas on this occasion.  It's a much smaller piece of furniture than the previous two examples which could only be used in a proper dungeon setting or a film studio - this is much more suited to use in an ordinary domestic setting (although not exactly subtle enough to leave on permanent display in the living room).  There's a lot of thought gone into the design - it's lighter weight than the two previous examples but the feet are on the furniture rather than the floor so the subject can't push forwards.  The holes cut for the feet enable the subject legs to be right up tight to the wood and by securing the subjects thighs tightly to the wood, the capacity to move the bottom is almost non-existent.  It's also a relatively narrow top enabling the subject to bend right over it leaving the bottom, as colourfully demonstrated, ideally placed for, what has evidently been on this occasion, a jolly sound paddling. 

This is an altogether simpler piece of furniture with no padding evident to give any comfort.  Although the feet are now on the floor, by placing them to the outside edges of the wood, it will be possible but not easy for the subject to push the frame forward.  Secured at the knees and wrists there is ultimately no opportunity for escape but I think if she was kept waiting for a long time, this one would be very uncomfortable. This is perhaps moving slightly towards an attempt to portray more of a quasi judicial scene where the previous examples are clearly aimed at BDSM play.

This is an interesting take on a simple whipping table.  It would be extremely comfortable to be kept waiting like this kneeling on the hard wooden table with ankles, knees and wrists all tethered and - rather - obviously - the head in a position that the subject could not move from in any hurry.  All of the examples so far limit the subjects opportunity to see when the next stroke is coming but this one could do that most effectively.   The bottom is nicely presented for the punishment but it is also going to be very exposing and humiliating. 

By way of contrast, this couldn't be much more minimalist with the only "furniture" being the ceiling bean to which the subject is attached by her wrists.  She will be able to move a lot, including twisting around to see what her punisher is doing, but ultimately she's going nowhere.  This would probably be most typically used in a whipping scene where the tail of the whip might wrap around her body anyway - this appears to be a very simple version of such a device - in some cases there is rather more strapping around the wrist and the height of the tethering point can be adjusted so that the subject's feet could be lifted off the ground completely. 

This is about as simple as specifically intentioned furniture can get with a rather basic whipping bench from the HerFirstPunishment stable.  The wrist and ankles are rather crudely tied in place to prevent the subject escaping rather than to significantly limit their movement - by comparison to the first three examples it shows furniture that is designed to convey more of a judicial punishment than a BDSM scene. The effect is not unlike having the subject laid face down on the bed although it's a little lower allowing a longer swing of the switch before it whips across her bottom and it won't even allow the very limited yielding that a bed would offer..  There is no concession to comfort or dignity and the subject looks likely to be there for some considerable time incurring the wrath of the other women from the village if the supply of switches being inspected at the back is anything to go by.  You would expect that this allows very accurate placement of the strokes so that by the time she is eventually released there won't be any part of her bottom and upper legs that is unmarked. It is very much about making the girl feel powerless and humiliated - if every woman in the village takes their turn at thrashing her, she won't be able to do anything about it until they decide it's finished.

The final example, for now, is from MOOD and like the previous example, the starkness of the bench is designed to convey that this is a judicial scene rather than BDSM play.  It's a big and heavy piece of furniture and with her wrists and ankles secured by coarse rope the subject just has to take whatever punishment she has been sentenced to.
