Roué Girl

I ran a series recently called one-hit wonders featuring girls who featured in one issue of Janus magazine, were pretty good, but then never seemed to appear again.  I did have hopes of some corrections being able to point me to some other examples of these girls modelling in spanking shoots elsewhere but nothing so far.

Perhaps they were just hard-up students needing some quick money and thinking this was a better option than prostitution, or perhaps they were just too embarrassed when they saw the end result and imagined who might stumble across a copy of the magazine.  We'll probably never know.

Of course these days it's very different, we see the same girls appearing on either one website or on a variety of websites, usually sticking to using one name, and sometimes, apparently, giving us an insight into their personal life and their interest in CP and spanking.  It's quite obvious that while there may still be a few fakes around, there's enough girls who actually enjoy this enough to be videoed while they're punished, that there's little reason for using fakes.

There's one other model who fascinates me, not just because she looks superb and happens to have already featured in one of my monthly favourites.  She was a regular star in the great Roué magazine yet we never really go to know anything about her.  In many of the photo stories she was in there was no text provided and hence no name.  Who was she?  What was her story?

I even remember seeing one photo in a newspaper illustrating the obituary of George Harrison-Marks - I think he might have been leaving a court in the photograph - and I am sure the girl just behind him was the mystery model.  Come on folks - what can anyone tell us all to fill in the gaps?

Favourite for March

As we celebrate Google's about-turn on erotic content on blogs, it's time to welcome the Spring season.

It seems a good time to celebrate one of the websites that somehow seems to keep a lower profile than it's content justifies - namely Spanked In Uniform.  They have some extremely strong content around a number of different uniform themes but for many of us I'm sure it's always going to be their school series that work best.  They have some very attractive and credible models and they dress them appropriately.  Okay so, by the age implied here, tights are probably more likely than knee high socks but they have sensible length skirts, flat shoes and so on.  And this image of two girls that have been sent to the head of year's office for their latest misdemeanour captures brilliantly that moment when they're being summoned inside to face their punishment.

Another nail in the coffin

On the face of it, that's the end of this blog.  I could find another platform but I've tried others without much positive feeling.  Of course I often post without using any images or videos but that would severely restrict my output and probably result in even fewer visitors.  Alternatively I could invite people to ask me to share the blog with them but Part of the beauty of this medium is giving people the opportunity to lurk if they're not confident about making themselves know at all.    Right now I haven't made a final decision but I'm leaning towards just giving up.  Sad really.

The downside of the internet

There's been lot written recently about the appalling new laws imposed in the UK to restrict certain types of material being posted on UK websites.  However there is another darker side to internet life that threatens all of us that share any part of our non-vanilla lives in this way.  This article tells a sobering tale that we all, unfortunately, need to take heed of.

Series - One Hit Wonders (4)

Some really nice examples for the final part of this mini-series looking back on girls who graced the page of Janus once and seemed to disappear.  I had wondered if anyone would tell me that they had seen any of these girls appearing elsewhere, but so far, nothing.

The second schoolgirl to appear in the photo story in Janus 41 was named as Kathleen Sands - if you're not familiar with Janus but are sure you've seen here before, well I have featured her twice as a favourite of the month.  She is probably my favourite "schoolgirl" of all time in a school CP story.  The story was a bit odd in that she was meant to have a much worse history of being in trouble than Alicia Thompson who had preceded her into the headmistress's office but poor Alicia got her bare bottom caned while Kathleen just got the ruler and left the office grinning broadly.  Why would she not appear again?

Janus 48 featured the second most popular uniform with Clare Brierly as a nurse who has transgressed and ends up taking the cane on her bottom lying on a hospital bed. She looked suitably distressed and the sequence ended up with a nice shot of her clutching the seat of her skirt as she left the scene.

And finally another that has been a long time favourite of mine - Jacqueline Storing from Janus 50.  A classic girl next door and an impromptu thrashing from her father when he finds she's been nude modelling.  It's very credible domestic scene (except, did she have the looks to go in a glamour mag as opposed to a CP mag?) with the father clearly losing his temper when she swears at him and giving her a lengthy thrashing with the belt from his trousers leaving Jacqueline looking suitable chastened.

So what was the back story with all these girls?  Did any of them ever do similar work again and if not what led them to do it this one time?

Favourite for February

For some people it's the worst part of the whole thing, although it's all been really bad.  First it was the teacher finding a packet of cigarettes in your blazer pocket.  Denying that they were yours and not having actually been caught smoking made little difference - everyone knew the school rule on cigarettes and what the consequences invariably were.  So then there was the long wait and being aware that word had got out about you being caught and much sniggering about it as they all imagined what was going to happen.  Finally there was the awful moment of being summoned to the headmistresses office - heart pounding.  The desperate moments when you hoped you might talk your way out of this and then the realisation that you weren't going to be that lucky.  The headmistress warning that if you ever got caught again you could expect to be caned gave just a brief moment of hope, and then she opened her desk drawer and took out her large slipper.  You bent over the back of the chair half feeling that this was unreal and happening to someone else, and yet very aware that your short school skirt and flimsy knickers weren't going to offer much protection.  And then the first stinging blow to your bottom that hurt more than anything you could ever remember - followed by five more that left your bottom throbbing and hot and your red face lined with salty tears.  Not only your first ever school spanking but the first girl in your year to get it from the headmistress - the shame of it.  And then being taken straight back to your class and having to walk to your desk towards the back of the room, trying not to catch anyone's eye but aware that everyone of your classmates is looking at you and knows that you've just had a good walloping and have been crying.  How can you ever face talking to any of them ever again?

Series - One Hit Wonders (3)

For the penultimate foray into the girls who did a single photoshoot for Janus and then seemingly vanished, we start with one of the most unusual ever.  Janus 35 brought us two girls - Josie and Andrea.  Andrea (the one being caned here) did appear once more in a very different role.  Both were nice enough girls but would have struggled to find work in conventional glamour photography.  Both ended up almost naked - Andrea was left with her just her knee socks and Josie with her ankle socks and loose fitting T-shirt.  But only Andrea was actually on the receiving end of a punishment.  The story was that some rich guy had paid them to come to his place and act out his fantasy which was for one to punish the other.  The marks on her bottom didn't look very severe so they may have been for real or may have been faked.  However, I can't recall any other photo story in any CP magazine where a girl had to bare her bottom but then never had any punishment on it.

The second image is a much more conventional schoolgirl scene.  Sarah Denton appeared in Janus 39 as a naughty schoolgirl taken over her headmaster's knee and spanked hard on her bare bottom.  A nice looking girl again who made a reasonably convincing schoolgirl but certainly didn't have glamour looks.  She made a good job of looking distressed and the red marks on her bottom could have been from a light spanking.  This was the first half a story in which she is made to stand with her marked bottom on show when another girl arrives for punishment - the second girl went on to be more of a Janus regular and poor Sarah seemed destined to only ever be the warm up act. 

Lisa Jenkins in Janus 40 is interesting - nice enough body and figure, her role was a young student needing a bit of extra cash who visits the wealthy benefactor to dress up for him and take spankings on her bottom in return for cash and gifts.  It gave them an excuse to get away with the ridiculously high heels that many people wanted to see but never looked very credible in conventional scenarios.  I was always wondering whether the story they concocted for her to act out was more than a passing reference to reality - perhaps she was a student who needed a bit of extra money and modelled for Janus to get it.

And finally, for now, another interesting schoolgirl.  Rather like Sarah Denton above, Alicia Thompson in Janus 41 was the naughty schoolgirl sent to the headmistress and caned hard on her bare bottom, but turned out to just be the warm-up act.  Once again the rarity for Janus of a black model, nice looking if perhaps a little mature to pass as a schoolgirl, she certainly made a good job of looking distressed.  As she was meant to be a girl who wasn't used to being in trouble and who was caned on her bare bottom, she would probably have good enough reason to feel distressed, even without the knowledge that she was about to be displaced by another girl in the second half of the story and one who was clearly seen as the top of the bill act.

Series - One Hit Wonders (2)

Continuing the posh totty theme, Lisa in Janus 25 fitted beautifully into a high-society story, although you had to feel somewhat sorry for her having to endure a strict thrashing. She had a great body and, most importantly of course in this line of work, a lovely bottom, but did she ever do another spanking shoot?

Featured in Janus 28, Jassai Hafeez was one of the stars of their Moral Welfare videos playing the schoolgirl whose behaviour has become bad enough for her referral to the moral welfare service.  Not only did she convey a great "schoolgirl" look but she was one of very few models of Asian background to ever feature in the pages of Janus. I would love to have seen her perform again... 

A rather different star also found in Janus 28 was Rosemary Lane.  I was never really sure that her name fitted her look but, that aside, rather different in that she seemed a bit more mature (in a nice way) and not the sort of girl to end up accepting spankings for getting behind on her rent.  Again, bags of future potential and then... 

The final two for this week's instalment were a bit unusual because Janus didn't often go for prolonged nude sequences.  Sandra Taylor spent of lot of her photo shoot in the buff for Janus 32 and was required to adopt some very humiliating positions as well.  The cane marks may have been faked quite easily but weren't very severe or methodical anyway.  Apparently a cute and willing girl but maybe she felt uncomfortable with how exposed she had been.

Classic posh totty, this time in a largely nude shoot, Deborah Spencer-Smyth graced the pages of Janus 33. This was about as revealing as Janus photographs ever got and although the early stage marks on this photo were either faked or very gentle, there were other images where the crop marks would have been very difficult to fake and that would have stung a fair bit.  She did an interview piece for Janus later on but, so far as I know, never another full shoot.

Series - One Hit Wonders (1)

In the current era we may begin to feel that we actually know a bit about the real-life people that we see in spanking websites - even 'though that is undoubtedly something of an illusion.  It's probably because of the ease of producing videos that this has come about - it's clearly much more difficult to fake scenes when they're recorded on video than just captured with still photographs, especially when black and white photography predominated.  As a result many - perhaps even most - of those we are seeing in newly produced materials actually enjoy the experience and probably carry it on in their private live as well. For someone who just wants to make some money, it's not that easy nowadays.  We see punishments carried out that would, without question, be painful and we are critical where we see girls being punished too lightly.  It clearly stands out as absolutely ridiculous if a girl is stripped naked, bent over and then just feebly tapped with a cane fifty or sixty times.  If a girl is really punished in such a fashion you would expect to see very significant marking and clear distress, even if she does ultimately enjoy it in some way.

Of course there are exceptions.  It's not very long ago that a model called Katie Spades claimed to be a lifestyle spankee only for it be revealed later that she hated it but just wanted to make money from it.  Also some of the items coming from Eastern Europe in particular go much further than many of us might feel comfortable with and there has to be a clear inference that many of those who agree to be subjected to such brutal punishments are simply desperate to make money.  This is inferred pretty strongly when you find a website out there calling itself Caned 4 Cash (now defunct).  Nevertheless more and more spanking websites show behind the scenes clips showing the participants all really having a good time making the movie, and interview where the participants talk - apparently honestly - about how they feel and why they enjoy the scene.  there are also more opportunities to take part in parties and suchlike and meet and interact with the girls you have seen on your computer screen

If you go back to the 1970-90's period it all seems rather different.  There was really any feeling of connection withe the real life persona of the models,  So who were these people?  Some of them never even got a name attached to them.  Very many appeared once in a magazine like Roue, Janus or the Blushes stable and were never seen again.  One or two did do interview pieces but because these were just in print for, there was always a feeling that they were totally made up.  Quite a number were clearly very young - in the 18-25 age band perhaps.  More than a few looked a bit posh interestingly enough.  Some were extremely attractive but perhaps lacked the qualities sought by the very demanding glamour market.  Perhaps some of them were just needing to make a bit of extra money and if they couldn't make it from high-end glamour modelling, decided they preferred to take part in CP shoots rather than conventional sex scenes where they might be expected to have unprotected intercourse.  Perhaps there were students who were struggling to exist on their grant (we had them in those days) and thought this was such a niche area that nobody was ever likely to find out.  In many cases they might be required to wear outfits or accept nude scenes but rarely did the photographers in those days reveal too much.  And because film and colour printing was expensive, many of the scenes were only recorded with a still camera and black and white was widely used so it wasn't to hard to fake some marking and not have to actually endure a painful experience.  Over the next few weeks I'm going to feature some of these girls from Janus. Most - I think - only ever appeared in one issue.  However I would love to know if anyone knows any more about the girls I'm going to feature, whether they ever appeared elsewhere, and whether we actually know anything about them.

To get the ball rolling...

The first one is a girl I've featured before as a Favourite,  From Janus 15 she enacted a photo story about a girl caught shoplifting who accepts a hand spanking and bare bottom caning rather than the police getting involved.  They didn't even give her a name in the story.  There were a lot of red marks on her bottom by the end of the caning (this was before Janus became nervous about showing marks) and they looked fairly credible, but were they just come clever fakery?

This young lady from Janus 18 was called Jennifer Simmonds for the story of a young liberal-minded student teacher accepting punishment from her headmaster in order to get a reference from him.  Interesting use of very non-sexy clothing in this one.

Antonio du Bois is a strange case.  She made a film called The Disciplinarian that Janus made out was one of the major CP movies of all time.  It was good but perhaps not quite that good.  In Janus 20 we were given not just production stills from the movie but a lot of extras and a back story of what had happened before the film.  Strictly, she did appear again in Janus when she did one of their interview pieces but I don't recall ever seeing this posh totty ever doing another full shoot or another film.

And talking of posh totty, this delightful girl appeared in Janus 21 with the name Cynthia.  She had a lovely bum and ended up with some good cane marks once more.

Favourite for January

First of all, let me wish all readers a very Happy New Year - especially the likes of Old Tom and Targetarear who go to so much trouble to provide feedback and comment.

Then on to business!

I love the classical honesty and simplicity of this image.  It does look about as close as it gets to how a schoolgirl might have looked bending over a desk to be caned across her bottom - no ridiculously short miniskirt (although nowadays it would probably be considerably shorter than this as fashion dictates), no stiletto heels, no unrealistic pigtails and no "adjustment" of her attire.  Okay, I like it as much as anyone when we are shown an attractive girl getting it across her panties or her bare bottom, but there is something about this that suggest rather more authenticity.  Obviously it was pretty unusual for girls to get caned across their bottoms (sadly) in the days when corporal punishment was used in British schools, but it wasn't something that never happened and it would most probably have looked something like this on those precious few occasions.  And anyone who thinks that because she has her knickers and a pleated skirt for protection, it's not going to be very effective and painful has clearly never been on the wrong end of a properly delivered caning over their normal attire.

To be honest, until 2014, neither had I, but then I decided that - although my primary interest is to be on the giving side - I needed to know more about what it would feel like before I can seriously contemplate going out there and finding some female interested in consenting to be punished by me.  My first experience then, of being caned across the seat of my trousers was not at school but rather too many years later in 2014.  And it bloody hurt!  My very sincere thanks to the lovely young lady who has been helping me with that exploration.  Now we'll have to see what 2015 brings!
