Continuing the posh totty theme, Lisa in Janus 25 fitted beautifully into a high-society story, although you had to feel somewhat sorry for her having to endure a strict thrashing. She had a great body and, most importantly of course in this line of work, a lovely bottom, but did she ever do another spanking shoot?
Featured in Janus 28, Jassai Hafeez was one of the stars of their Moral Welfare videos playing the schoolgirl whose behaviour has become bad enough for her referral to the moral welfare service. Not only did she convey a great "schoolgirl" look but she was one of very few models of Asian background to ever feature in the pages of Janus. I would love to have seen her perform again...
A rather different star also found in Janus 28 was Rosemary Lane. I was never really sure that her name fitted her look but, that aside, rather different in that she seemed a bit more mature (in a nice way) and not the sort of girl to end up accepting spankings for getting behind on her rent. Again, bags of future potential and then...
The final two for this week's instalment were a bit unusual because Janus didn't often go for prolonged nude sequences. Sandra Taylor spent of lot of her photo shoot in the buff for Janus 32 and was required to adopt some very humiliating positions as well. The cane marks may have been faked quite easily but weren't very severe or methodical anyway. Apparently a cute and willing girl but maybe she felt uncomfortable with how exposed she had been.
Classic posh totty, this time in a largely nude shoot, Deborah Spencer-Smyth graced the pages of Janus 33. This was about as revealing as Janus photographs ever got and although the early stage marks on this photo were either faked or very gentle, there were other images where the crop marks would have been very difficult to fake and that would have stung a fair bit. She did an interview piece for Janus later on but, so far as I know, never another full shoot.

Do you realise James that you are rapidly becoming the historian of the spanking world. Perhaps the world's fits doctoral thesis on the history of spanking models?

'Rosemary Lane' reminds me of Susannah Reid, the Breakfast News presenter formerly of the BBC, now ITV (or Sky). (I don't watch breakfast news programmes these days; I prefer Today on Radio 4).

I am in favour of the cane being applied to bare backsides to keep naughty daughters behaved as part of loving, traditional chastisement - I myself gotten punished this way as a child & so in turn of course, did my two daughters (now grown up). This aligned with my strict, conservative, Christian family values. But I am in no way a fan of this diaper position. Or of any humiliation whatsoever.
Loving chastisement sure does require some humbling, for example, bottom baring rituals & scoldings from mom ! But IMHO, there is no place for humiliation. I did not even send my girls for corner time after a spanking. It was always panties pulled back up, shorts pulled back up. Give them a hug. And send to their rooms. My mother's post-whooping process for sister & me was the same back in the 1960s: no corner time. Mother always talked about loving spankings as a normal, routine & necessary fact of family life in our Church ... humbling yes, humiliation, no.
My own mantra for spanking (as a mom) was maximum sting, maximum safety & a required minimum of humbling. I followed the same ritual over the years for my girls from an early age. I always fetched the lil' cane from the cupboard (a much-feared, thin, flexible rattan: like a dowel-rod) & I always bared their bottoms, with knickers put down to knees, never off. Oh my! This tickle-tail was harsh & fair & salutary & worked well. I believed in simple rituals & no half-measures or wishy-washy nonsense. CP not PC, already!
No surprise, James, it was just like my own childhood, & my mother (then in her 50s, now in her 80s) was often around to "lend a hand" when looking after my girls when I was working full-time as a mother, in the 1980s & 90s. Spanking with love was the philosophy that I had grown up with in our community in Georgia in the 1960s & 1970s.
