What is this new sport they're bringing to the Olympic Games? I'd be willing to train really hard to earn a place on the team.

I've long admired the artwork of David Adams which can be found, along with his short stories on his Girl Spanking Stories blog. I think it's always especially impressive when a single simple drawing takes you right back into the moment.

At my school, caning was very much a last resort. When someone had managed to trigger that sanction the person or persons concerned would usually have a pretty good idea that they were for it, but not when. Then a teacher would turn up for the start of a lesson and tell the unlucky victim(s) that they were to report immediately to the office of the headmaster or deputy headmaster. I never had that experience myself but it must have been chilling to realise your time had come and to try to show no emotion as you left the classroom, all eyes on you but trying to look at the ground and just get out as soon as possible. They would be gone for, maybe, around fifteen minutes and then they would return looking, at best, ashen-faced, and try to quickly take their seat - desperate not to be the centre of attention. Of course, everyone else in the class would be wanting to know what had happened but there was no way to find out until the end of the lesson when the pack would descend like starved hyenas and force them to tell all. For the remainder of the lesson all we could do was try to surreptitiously glance in their direction for glimmers of reaction. You had to be careful - it the teacher saw you looking at them they would probably throw a difficult question at you to shift the embarrassment temporarily in your direction. For those who had just been caned, they would be sitting there a little gingerly, trying not to show any evidence of how excruciatingly painful their experience had been, and how they now had a dull throbbing in their backside. And, worst of all, they were soon to be deluged with questions.

In the late 1960s, it was often the case in English schools that corporal punishment was applied for serious offences. In many mixed schools, the practice was that boys would get the cane while girls would get the slipper. It was also the rule that punishment had to be carried out by a teacher of the same gender as the pupil being punished. At one school I know of, there was one of the women teachers who didn't do anything to hide her lesbian tendencies and, if they had been given the choice, most of the girls would far rather have been slippered by a male teacher than by her. However, that option was not available.

The head was known to be a stickler for the correct school uniform. He would frequently make a point of being out and about when classes were changing over and would grab a girl, take her to one side, remonstrate with her about her skirt being too short, or her hair not tied back, or wearing make-up and she would get written up for a one-hour after-school detention.

The day that Mr Frost got angry with Emily for not completing her geography homework for the third consecutive time and said he was reporting her to the headmaster, she hoped against hope she wouldn't be summoned until at least the next day so that she could wear her proper length skirt. It was not to be. Last class of the morning and his secretary turned up to take her to the head's office. She rather expected he'd comment on her skirt first but he launched straight into the homework matter and tore a strip off her for that. Then he brought out a cane from his cupboard and her heart sank. It wasn't a totally new experience for her and she knew it hurt a lot. She had to bend over and he gave her four strokes, possibly even harder than the last time, and when she stood up she was very close to tears - it was probably only because she was in a bit of a state of shock that she wasn't blubbing.

"Right now girl. Before my secretary takes you back to your class I must also comment on that skirt - you know fine well that it's too short for the uniform regulations and I could give you a detention for that. I won't do so on this occasion. However, I will be asking your form teacher to check your uniform at least once a week for the rest of term, and if they see you wearing a skirt that short again, then it will be a detention. Am I clear?"

"Sir."

"I must also remind you that three detentions in one term automatically mean a caning and next time you'll get six." Emily gulped. She couldn't face six strokes of the cane so it looked as if she would have to comply.

"One more thing. Because it's too short, when you bent over for this caning I could see rather too much of your knickers. They are not uniform compliant either so you must remove those immediately."

"But Sir, I don't have another pair with me."

"Not my problem - you'll just have to be very careful for the rest of the day won't you?"  Realising that arguing was only making matters worse she turned away from him, put her hands up under her skirt, and pulled them down. She'd done it as quickly as possible and hoped she hadn't shown off too much in the process. The headmaster held out his waste bin and invited her to drop them in. She almost ran from the office with tears running down her flushed cheeks. As a result, she didn't see the glimmer of a smile on his face from having glimpsed the evidence of his handiwork.

I've got a question....

Some spanking positions just have to be described (or portrayed) - 'lying face down on the bed', 'bent over his desk', 'bent over the back of the chair' for example. Others are familiar enough to anyone likely to read this blog - 'OTK', 'Touch toes' for example. Most readers would also immediately understand terms like 'lunge position' or 'wheelbarrow style' or 'diaper position'. So here's my question...

What do we call this position, or how do we describe it so the reader immediately has a picture in their mind? I know it's less common but assuming the spanker is a fair bit stronger than the spankee then it has lots going for it - the target area is beautifully positioned and the spankee isn't going anywhere until the spanker decides that she can.

So come on, anyone got any suggestions - it's for a storyline I'm working on.

One of the things that there are occasional references to where people are reminiscing about school corporal punishment 'back in the day' is the notion of a formal spanking in the headmaster's

office.

Were they ever a real thing or just the stuff of fantasy? There are enough references out there to believe that, although it was unusual, very occasionally a teacher did smack an errant pupil with the flat of his/her hand across their bottom (and I witnessed that on more than one occasion). And it is also beyond dispute that in the case of really bad behaviour, a pupil might be sent to the headmaster's office (or that of another senior member of staff), and punished with a strap or cane. In the later years before the abolition of corporal punishment in UK schools there was a move towards such punishments, especially for girls, being given on their hands rather than their bottoms but that hadn't always been the way. It is also a fact that some pupils getting the cane or strap would brag to their peers about it afterwards and feign indifference. I rather doubt that anyone would brag to their peers if the headmaster had put them over his lap and spanked them. They might have left his office with a very sore bottom, maybe crying, but desperate for their friends not to know they've been given a punishment more associated with small children.

Japan joins the party

In August I published a lengthy piece concerning fun spanking scenes that have been emerging from China - mainly linked to games of Rock-Paper-Scissors. Although the output of those has slackened slightly there's still new material appearing all the time.

However, it now seems that the Japanese are joining in with some fun street spankings, albeit currently on just one TikTok site. If you think the Chinese ones are hard to understand then Japan is even more confusing. One person bends over - usually an attractive young girl - someone stands behind her -  usually a guy - with what appears to be a large plastic club, and on the count of three he whacks her across the bottom. I don't think they're especially heavy implements so it's probably only going to cause a bit of a sting and short-term red marks but, as with most of the Chinese examples, they're delivered with a lot of enthusiasm and force.

These first three images give you a good idea of what to expect. They all take place in the street outside a place called Bar Ripple with the girls usually bending forward over a large wooden packing case.

Some of the girls are dressed to protect their modesty - others don't really dress in a manner that lends itself to bending over in the street.

Many are very confident before they get their whack and often pose for the camera.

A very small number show very little reaction at all and seem able to just laugh it off. However, if you like to see a bit more reaction...

...most do show quite a lot of over-dramatic reactions, loud squeals, clutched bottoms, throwing themselves to the floor or running around...

...and some nice spanky dances!

There are fewer cases of the same character appearing several times than in the Chinese ones but there doesn't seem to be a game element. What the story behind this might be eludes me. Perhaps it's a special offer where they get a free drink at the bar? If anyone knows, please tell everyone in the comments below. Favourite for December

I love this moment captured in the Xerotics video Trip to the Woodshed (also known as Cat Woodshed), Cat has been letting her school grades slide and her father is unimpressed. He takes her out to the woodshed, makes her drop her shorts and panties and bend over. First, she gets a hand spanking and then a good old whoopin' with a leather belt. When she is finally free to go back to her bedroom she stumbles out of the woodshed, struggling to pull up her panties and shorts as she rushes back to the house.

It's the mix between her wanting to get away from the shed and back indoors and wanting to get her shorts up to cover her fiery red bottom that makes this such a lovely moment.

Nice model and some credibility to the scene but, alas, in the actual video he's very gentle on her.
