The Chinese spanking scene (Part 1)

I've been interested for a while in the slowly emerging spanking scene in China. There are any number of spanking clips out there with models of ethnic Chinese extraction - some people would probably make broad (and somewhat misguided) comments about Asian girls having submissive tendencies and also often looking younger than they actually are which may be attractive to some in the sector. What I'm exploring here, 'though, are movies produced and shot in China. In some respects they stand out as very different to the rest of the contemporary market, but there are also some aspects that might surprise us for the similarities.  The rest of the world might tend to think of mainland China as having a rather repressive view of sexual issues but there are clearly enough people in China who have been sneaking through the great firewall of China to get a glimpse of what is going on outside.

This is a pretty big series - in all I'll be using more than 150 images (some may appear in more than one category of discussion) so I've used rather smaller images than I usually feature in order to make it manageable. I'll publish the content in six parts on alternate days although I have arranged the content into 11 sub-titles because some take more space than others. So let's get started with...

BRANDS AND LOGOS

It is a fairly underground scene and as such is subject to frequent and blatant copying and rebranding. There are one or two names I've seen appearing a few times but that I've then seen examples where they appear to have overprinted their logos on top of the original producer. On that basis I have discounted them, and believe that, at the time of writing, there have only been three producers that seem to be of any size (and at least one these now seems to be defunct.

Chinese Spanking has been around for a while - often there is no title screen at the start or end of a clip but their distinctive logo appears at some stage of the clip - often quite small and discreet.

Spank-China is a similar operation. I would hazard a guess that some of their content is submitted by enthusiasts who have shot it themselves. Apart from the brand name, I have not seen any sign of the first two venturing into any us of English language.

Han-duty is the third brand that I recognise. In some of their more recent material there are limited signs of some attempts at English sub-titles. On one clip I've seen they also display the following English language message at the start of the clip.

This is in itself interesting because it highlights one of the most significant distinguishing features of Chinese produced content - we just about never get to see anything of the faces of the participants, which leads nicely into...

PRIVACY

Here we see it's not just the sub girl that needs to keep her face hidden but the male dom who has been heavily pixelated out.

This a rather more unusual, if amusing, means of ensuring the girl can't be identified - as she is applying the strap to her own bottom, it is probably too difficult for her to keep her face hidden (she needs to see what's she's doing!).

Taking no chances, this girl has her face partly buried but they've pixelated it as well to make sure.

More commonly they just go to great lengths to keep their face hidden, shrouded in their hair...

...buried in their arms or a pillow as their punishment progresses...

...and even at the end of the punishment when they're trying to rub away the pain, they are obviously very conscious of the need to not let their face be seen. (BTW, very cute bottom in that last one I thought).

Although there are exceptions, they are much more modest than we observe more widely in the scene today. It's not just their faces we don't see!

MODESTY

The use of thongs or very brief panties is quite common so that they can be punished, effectively on their bare bottom, but with the genital area covered.

Others go for pixelation again...

... or for a very crude and straightforward block.

Sometimes they pull down the panties but only just about far enough to bare the bottom.

And then there are a few who seem to rely on keeping their legs as tightly together as they can, but are perhaps beginning to show off a little bit more. These three examples are about as much as you're ever likely to see at present.
