I realise this will probably not mean much to those outside the UK but as the stats show a large part of my audience is in the UK, here goes.
This lunchtime I turned on the television part way through today's episode of the game show Bargain Hunt. For those who don't know, two pairs of players each have to buy three items for under £300 total, usually at an antiques fair of some kind, and then sell them for profit at an auction. Each pair has the assistance of an antiques expert. At the moment I turned on today the rather lovely Natasha Raskin, one of the regular experts, was just saying "Well you should look at the bottom for marks because that's what it's all about." I looked up quickly hoping she had some cane marks across her lovely derriere, but sadly she was advising her teams about how to assess the value of a glass vase. Another time maybe...

Tsk Tsk. James, James that is really too much to hope for in a programme on our politically correct TV. Perhaps a few days away in the country? Feet up, odd drink or two and watch the world go by? Of course you could always work out the spankability of various candidates in the forthcoming political brawls.

Slim pickings there Old Tom, I reckon, although Amber Rudd has a very spankable behind. I distinctly remember catching a glimpse of it on TV as she walked into No 10 on that day last June when the Prime Minister formed her new Cabinet. She was wearing trousers that clung to the curves of her backside and I remember thinking 'I wouldn't mind putting her over my knee'. I must stop here; my left (spanking) hand is starting to shake just at the recollection of that image.
Slim maybe but oh what joy in delivering a good well spanked rear to some of our daft MPs.

Whoever she is (?!)...perhaps she gotten to raise her pretty lil' dress & pull her panties down for a dose of her mother's cane on her bare botty when she was a naughty lil' one, growing up at home - that is how I gotten punished by my mom (a strong Christian), with the "rod"- a darn, dreaded rattan cane ! Oh my! It was real Hell but also no big deal, just a fact of life, James. Or perhaps a sore session for Natasha with Papa's strap ? It was harmless & salutary & perfectly normal. Lessons gotten learned early.
If she was a Southern belle from Georgia, that would most probably be the truth, already!
For my peers (OK, we good ladies in our 60s. Oh my!!!) why, we daughters gotten our bare backsides tanned as par for the course, growing up in normal, strict, loving traditional homes. And younger girls like her sure gotten whuppin's too - albeit by a smaller proportion of spankees: say 80/90% to 70% respectively. I am not party to exact statistics, James, but PC has a lesser effect in America, than UK/Europe. And a far lesser effect in the South, as you know. In my 1960s childhood it gotten to feel like 90% of my friends at church gotten spanked.
My own two daughters gotten raised with corporal punishment on their bare bottoms (with the cane) in our normal, loving Southern family. It's just good parenting in my book, James. They are in their 30s, already. And moreover, their fair, tender bottoms have recovered !
So maybe this attractive Natasha gal gotten whooped too ?
Oh my! It sure would do her no harm, James, IMHO; speaking from my own longstanding experience & my daughters' experience also. I can speak for them because we often discuss spankings in the normal course of conversation in our family...again a normal trait in Georgia.
