I do like traditions in corporal punishment. I do like an angry father hauling his badly behaved daughter over his knee in such a way that she's hoisted off the floor altogether and is accordingly all the more helpless. And when he flicks back her the skirt of her flimsy summer dress to begin her spanking and discovers she went out without any knickers on, you can probably speculate that she's going to be in that position for a very long time and until she has a very red bottom and the tears are flowing freely.

One can imagine that photo of a naughty wife, who has overspent on her credit card. And her husband upturns her, for a good spanking on her bare bottom.
My mother-in-law at 80 taught me 55 and my wife I wasn't too old to be held high off the ground over her knee as my wife took me pants and underwear off and my mil spanked me to tears and all I could do was squirm and beg. Quite embarrassing and humiliating as my wife recorded my spanking on her and my mil's cell phone for her, to be enjoyed over and over as I kicked and begged to be let go. markiee

Yes, approaching my 61st birthday, I also like traditions James, especially the Southern family traditions, already ! I have experienced many spanking rituals as a daughter (spankee) & mother (spanker) of two girls. I also seem to agree with nearly all your comments on your Blog, James ha-ha !
Back in 1960s Atlanta, I gotten to see a bunch of my princess friends (from Church, school, sports clubs) having their lil' cotton-white botties bared & spontaneously spanked any time, any place, any where (1970s Martini spankings?!) Spanked by their moms (mainly) or by their dads.
PC was light years away & pretty dresses gotten hoisted & 1950s white cotton knickers gotten pulled down for just desserts on the naked place provided by God for loving chastisement, like this scene here. Over childhood years, I saw girls gotten spanked in their homes, in the mall, in the store, in the parking lot...& at moms coffee mornings. There was no safe place, already !! I reckon over 90% of parents were in favour of CP at home.
I naturally gotten my bare hiney soundly spanked a lot at home, but never in public, sadly !! My dad was like this father in the photos, (Dave ?) shown here: spontaneous & furious ! From an early age, up came our dresses, down came our panties; and over his knee sister & me gotten thrown for a sound hard smacking on our porcelain -white botties, all sensitive & totally bare, with his hand or hairbrush. Period. That was routine & normal, good parenting.
Sadly mom soon became the whooper-in-chief, as dad gotten to work away on business more. Mom was less spontaneous. Mom was a strict, devout Christian & so we gotten to be spanked "in front of God" with the "rod" in the living room. Bad luck immediately ensued at a young age (7) because mom chose a flexible, rattan cane as "the rod of correction": a real, nasty, whippy-thin switch of a cane which we always gotten harsh, on a bare botty, with our white, cotton knickers pulled down to our knees without exception. The sting was really unbearable, but utterly harmless, James. And so we gotten this cane across our bare bums a bunch for ever more throughout childhood...sure taught us right from wrong. Oh my !
With my own two daughters (1980s born) my own hubby unfortunately did not spank our girls like the photos shown here. He did not spank them at all. I respected his decision. And so as the designated "meany bad cop mom" I would spank with love as is my stern traditional values/belief & so I gotten to smack my daughters' bare tender bottoms from an early age, with the exact same cane that my other had used on me. Harsh but fair. Like mother, like daughter, James !
The cane on a bare botty from mom, sure was salutary for my young girls (!!) & worked well (from my perspective !!!) despite the copious, traumatic tears & squawks & red backsides from my two naughty lil' ones over the years ! Oh my ! I cannot abide wishy-washy discipline, James.
All swell in our typical, strict Southern family & my girls (now aged 30s) gotten to be all happy, fine & successful & are staunchly pro-spanking :-) Thank the Lord !
