I love spankings.
But I also love the expressions of the girls. Sometimes you not even be able to see their face, but they way they hold themselves can be so expressive - I've put together a little three day sequence to show what I mean. Today is themed BEFORE.
The moment of discovery when the first schoolgirl realises that somehow the headmaster has got hold of the crib notes she took into the exam - the shock of discovery and pounding heart wondering what he will do.
Then we see two girls being told off - the expression on the one girl's face seems to reveal that she's just beginning to realise just how much trouble they're in.
This girl seems to have accepted that she's about to get a very hard and painful paddling on her bottom but the picture captures that moment of hesitation as she tries to summon the courage to bend across the table.

We never liked the idea of the paddle for our Daughter- we felt it is too much like pummeling! Hand spanking and a light cane were the instruments of correction we used in response to breaking our rules. As she got older most punishments were triggered by coming home late, even with a period of grace! the caning would be given on the Friday night or over the weekend.
The number of strokes varied between 6 and 12, given equally by us over her pyjamas. We continued until she was about 19! RF
My wife and I married in the mid
1990's. She was a divorcee with one daughter who was 16. My wife was strict with the girl and she was spanked for bad behaviour.For the more serious matters -coming home late ,or a poor school report etc ,she was paddled.My wife had been persuaded to try the paddle by her American relations. She found it effective and my step daughter hated having it!. As she got older 18/19 we had some difficulty getting her to bend over for it and I had to hold her whilst she was prepared for it and whilst it was applied to her almost bare bottom!It certainly brought about better school work and behaviour, the marks being there as a reminder for a few days!.She visits often and likes to talk about those times and we tell her she is not too old for it ,but she has declined the offer! My mom also used paddle on me but mainly for really bad behavior and or willfull disobedience

The necessary baring ritual has always fascinated me since a young child, "breeze on the botty moment of truth": I saw my sister bared (knicks down to knees, bare buttocks only for the cane at home, never actually fully naked) countless times for punishment in our childhoods, plus seeing my girlfriends bared by their parents for whoopings & of course witnessing girls have their bare botties smacked in public in the parks, gardens, malls, church rooms, & parking lots of Atlanta in the 1960s/70s & indeed in more recent times as a mother myself...obviously spending time with other spanker moms/families. In summary: Georgia State is spanking central, James. It is just normal.
Some moms used the paddle (last photo) as an iconic American piece, but the leather strap/belt was the most common implement for my princess peers in the 60s/70s. Oh my! Today, the strap is still the most common bottom smacker.
I am 62 now & I recall the lovely Church coffee mornings that my mother catered for in the 1960s - the moms took turns to host, naturally. My mom was a key figure in our local, suburban church in Atlanta. During coffee mornings the subject of daughters' spanked bottoms always figured in conversation...this was the 1960s, already! This was also a Christian moms' event. And this was the strict, conservative South.
So in the mid-1960s my mother would show the other moms the cane that she had purchased for her two daughters. She always welcomed new younger moms into the church & associated coffee mornings & would talk about spankings as a normal fact of life (spare the rod spoil the child). Mom always said pulling down panties & chastising bare bottoms was the only way, & she said that the cane was ferociously stingy & also completely safe on our tender, bare young bums. I sure agree. But I found mom showing the cane to be both exciting & embarrassing as a young girl...other moms glanced at me knowingly, probably visualising my chubby, alabaster-white, squishy-soft botty bending over the sofa; framed by my trademark, stark, golden sun tan lines, 1950s yellow dress n white panties, awaiting 12 strokes of the rod! This was all good parenting & strict Christian tenets, James. It was nothing but normal & necessary.
Oh my! Some mothers took my mom's advice & purchased the same flexible, rattan cane; others preferred the strap or paddle or switch, wooden spoon, hairbrush etc for their daughters' bare backsides. Twenty years' later in 1980s, I was God-blessed with my own two wonderful daughters. I sure was no member of the wokerati & snowflake society James ha-ha! So, in strong agreement with my mother, of course, I gotten the same thin, rattan cane for my girls & they gotten it on their bare bottoms without exception when they needed it over the years in the 80s & 90s. I believe in tough love. It was safe, salutary & very effective on their bare behinds!! It sure kept the peace and good order at home. Exactly as I remembered it, harsh but fair, from my sister's & my own happy, disciplined childhoods.
CP is still greater than PC in Georgia, James, in contrast to the UK/Europe.
Oh my! We are just a typical Southern family. My girls, now mid/late 30s, tell me that their tender, soft botties have recovered from my spanking stick!!, and they are both staunchly pro-spanking. My girls have no truck with the PC, naughty step, snowflake brigade, James, thank the Lord.
