We introduced caning when our daughter was 18, in the late eighties.Prior to this it was hand spanking and the slipper which we felt was not getting the message over.My wife with my support actually gave the punishments and the caning! She was allowed a thong but that was no protection! Eight strokes was the normal and we continued this into her gap
year despite her complaints and usual pleas and excuses especially she was too old for it! Bob
We had two daughters ,the eldest 7 years older than Our 2nd girl and left home when she was 21 ,after geting her degree.Our youngest was by far the more badly behaved and of course was punished more often.She also always made a fuss when we told her she was to be punished.That carried on even when she 17/18 especially when she was being prepared for punishment and my wife finally removed her knickers or panties!She did the caning and caned sharply on P's well padded BTM as she bent over a stool. We both spanked her but that was over shorts.She was punished until she was 21 when we invariably used the cane! JH

As a strictly raised Christian girl myself (born 1959) a mother of two grown-up daughters (also strictly raised with corporal punishment) I sure relate to these photos...a simple foundation of family life & societal norms in Georgia, South Carolina et al.
When my two girls told lies, gotten caught fighting or showed real bad bratitude in the 1980s & 90s, then I duly fetched the thin, flexible, rattan cane from the cupboard, & two pairs of panties had to come down so that the rod of correction could make a stinging impression on the tender, bare "orthodox surface provide by God" for loving chastisement. That is the only way!
Oh my! their poor sore botties! Now in their mid 30s already, my two daughters ruefully tell me that the soft, sensitive skin on their lily white backsides has recovered from my trusty cane, already. And they thank me for my strict, methods & loving motherhood. Moreover they are pro-spanking. We are all a close, loving family who attend Church & believe in CP.
My sister & me gotten the same harsh punishment from our God-fearing, kind but fierce mom with the cane on our bare buttocks in the 1960s & 70s. Oh my! Why we are all just a normal traditional Southern family , James, who gotten to take no notice of PC nonsense!
It served us well. No need for naughty steps or even spanking clothed backsides with a lettuce leaf! Don't spare the bare was the maxim for my girls.
