Favourite for March

Favourite for February

Sometimes less is more.  I have a very strong imagination and sometimes I prefer an image which doesn't do all the work for me.  Don't get me wrong, a pretty girl over someones lap with her panties around her ankles and skirt flipped back with a rapidly reddening pair of buttocks is very pleasant.

But sometimes I just prefer an image that gives my the germ of an idea where I can wonder what caused this to come about, how things have reached this situation or what's going to happen next.  This image comes very much in that last category.

A shapely young woman on a summer's day with a nice pair of short and wearing plimsolls has clearly decided that rules are not meant for her - she's climbing over that gate and is intent on cooling down in that pool.  What will happen, who will stumble upon her and what he or she will do (and whether it will involve an alternative use for one of those plimsolls).

Yesterday's Sunday Times in the UK included the following advertisement for their own special publication...

I was briefly quite excited - I should have known better!  Two males talked about their father giving them spankings where they had to pretend they had hurt but they were too timid for them to have really felt them.  The only female to admit to having been spanked was Lisa Marie Presley and that was no revelation and was rather lacking in detail.  Shame because there was rather a good one the other week when the TV cook Mary Berry and her daughter Annabel talked about Mary's use of a butter pat to administer discipline.

Strange phenomenon

Isn't it strange - we've got used to better and better quality of colour images and videos - I often think it's quite sad that some of the material from ten years ago is not to the standards we expect today despite the selfless participation of all concerned.

And yet, sometimes you come across a black and white image that is anything but high quality, and yet just because it's lacking the best standards, it makes you think for a moment that just maybe this was someone managing to grab a quick image of the real thing.

Before the internet

It's hard to remember how hard it was to explore a fascination with the spanking fetish in the days before the Internet.  There's no doubt I was fascinated for years at a time when I had to search really hard to find anything to stimulate my interest - perhaps part of the reason why I took to writing my own spanking fiction.  I was aware that their were magazines like Janus, Martinet, Spank and Sting (from reading The English Vice by Ian Gibson from cover to cover in my local reference library) but assumed that it was only in places like Soho that they would be found and I wasn't likely during my teenage years to have unfettered access to such places.

When I started applying to universities and getting invited for interviews two things happened very quickly.  Firstly I noticed that many businessmen travelling on trains seemed to have porno mags in their briefcases.  Then, one day in the autumn of 1977 or early 1978, I travelled for an interview at one of the universities in Manchester.  As I walked out of the station I passed a newsstand and my eyes were drawn to the top of a copy of Janus at the back of the stand.  For the rest of my visit I kept thinking about it and remember very little else about the university visit.   On the assumption that I knew nobody in Manchester and would probably not be going back there any time soon I revisited the newsstand on my return to the station and bought the magazine.

 And here it is - well, to be honest, here is another copy that I purchased later for nostalgic reasons.  At some point in the following years I had a purge of my growing collection of spanking magazines and this one was lost in the process.  To be honest the content was a bit disappointing and not really to my taste.  The stories were okay but the drawings were uninspiring and the dated costumes fro many of the models were not to my liking.   However, years later, I found a copy in the Janus shop in Soho and decided (even 'though it was marked up to six times to original cover price) to re-purchase as it was a piece of my personal history.  I also realised that there were often shops selling this type of material close to railway stations, presumably to satisfy the needs of travelling businessmen.

I have the magazine still although I haven't revised my view of the images.  In fact, looking through it recently, there was really only one poor quality black and white image that I rather like.

Favourite for January

Here's a fascinating scene to get the new year off to a glowing start.

There's no shortage of images and videos on the web showing "fun" spankings, often at birthday parties or other social gatherings.  Usually the spankee has happily gone along with the whole thing putting up only token resistance, even 'though they sometimes discover it has a more painful outcome than they were expecting.

This has some of the hallmarks of a fun spanking given the ages of those involved but it's clearly not taking place in a small social setting but in a very public place.  That makes it all the more unusual for the girl getting the spanking on her bare bottom, despite it happening where anyone passing by will see.  In fact it appears from the reflection in her sunglasses that a little group of people including the photographer have gathered to enjoy the spectacle.  She clearly seems very unhappy about it although it may be that the smarting bottom is currently of greater concern to her than her state of undress.  The other young lady present doesn't appear to be trying to rescue her friend - perhaps because she's not wanting to get the same treatment.  It's also interesting that someone has taken the trouble to disguise the face of the guy dealing out her spanking but has not spared the young lady's blushes and prospect of identification to others who come across the image.

Pre-Christmas Announcement from Lapland

In a surprise announcement from Father Christmas Inc headquarters in Lapland it has been revealed that Santa has been developing some modern systems thinking and best business practice to offer an enhanced service this year.  By using new state-of-the-art computer systems his helpers have been able to compile not just the traditional "Nice Girls" and "Naughty Girls" lists but a further list titled "Very Naughty Girls."

It is promised that for the first time ever he will be using new logistics techniques and modern delivery equipment in order to be able to make additional visits to those on the new "Very Naughty Girls" list.

A spokesman has said that although this is a significant break from the tradition of Santa not visiting naughty girls on Christmas Eve, the format of the visits will also be non-traditional.  No details of this planned format are being released before the big night but the spokesman hinted that time constraints may not always allow the task to be fully completed in which case Santa would be leaving appropriate implements and instructions with a third party in order to complete the task on Christmas morning.  In what is being seen as a cryptic clue we were told that there was a direct relevance in the announcement being made from Lapland as "Santa's lap may play a big part in what happens on the night."

"We think this could be the reddest Christmas ever!" he added.

Favourite for December

This one has been sitting around for a while in a folder I use for potential "favourites" - not sure if it's from a professional studio or not since it doesn't really fit the style of any of the major players.

In fact there are several things that make it a bit unusual - the way she's leaning towards the desk for starters. The punishment is clearly about to start and it appears that her backside is to be the target even 'though she is still, at present, benefitting from the relatively generous protection of a denim skirt.  The skirt does show her curves quite nicely and it's short enough that it wouldn't be especially difficult to raise it to really make the punishment more effective (and you have to guess that will happen before very long).  We can't see the implement to be used but it's to be hoped that it's something fairly solid like a wooden hairbrush which will be quite capable of making her bottom sting even with this much protection.

I think the thing that I like most about the picture is the girl's legs - we don't get nearly enough pictures where the girl isn't actually undressed but shows so much of her lovely legs as we get here thanks to the ankle socks.  In fact, if I was in his position, the first thing she would get would be a shower of solid smacks to the lower half of her legs - when I was little, this was not an uncommon way to punish (sometimes called a 'whizzing' which I rather like) because it was guaranteed to really sting and also to leave unmistakable and embarrassing red fingermarks for everyone to see.
