Guide to this blog

The Blogroll is now in two parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated, with the most recent first. The second part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds in alphabetical order. The section covering blogs that use the BDSMLR platform has been removed as it is no longer of any functional use.

Spankolympics

From this illustration it looks as if somebody beat me to it, but I have been thinking about whether we should have the main Olympics, the Paralympics, and then finally the Spankolympics.  On the other hand it might be better to just get a few events added into the main thing.

My number one preference is the solo caning event where girls are given marks for how well they bend over for their caning and additional marks for appropriate vocals and facial expression with marks deducted for taking a step forward, moving out of the touch toes position before told to, and big mark deductions for standing, clutching a hand to their backside, or using bad language.

Board Ruler

In The Junior School I attended (roughly age 8-11) there was one teacher who specialised in maths and whose favoured instrument of discipline was his blackboard ruler. Miscreants would be summoned to the front, told to bend over, and get a single swat with the big ruler across their behind.

At the time it was very affective in keeping me under control because I made extremely sure that I never found myself on the receiving end, although those that did seemed only slightly troubled by it.  One friend who got it said "it sort of tickled" - with the benefit of hindsight and the passage of years I appreciate it was really too unwieldy to do much more but I didn't work that out at the time.

Nevertheless, as it was a part of my personal history and journey, I was pretty pleased recently to be able to get hold of a similar implement.  For the curious it's just over one metre in length and weighs a little over 500g.

End of Summer Treat

As the great British summer appears to be pretty well over, my local supermarket is wanting to clear the section they had for outdoor toys for kids and is selling everything off.  Now my motivation for buying a kids cricket set was not for the miniature stumps - well made though they are, and certainly not for the plastic ball. It most definitely was not because I wanted to play cricket with some kids,  But I thought for four pounds, I could discard everything else and keep this little beauty.

I can confirm it's wooden, as you can see it's about 15 inches long, and weighs in at about 160g and has a nice rubbery non-slip covering to the handle  I would love to have someone around right now to try this out on but from a little bit of self experimentation I would describe it as a good attention grabber.

Video games and computer games

I don't know if this ever made it on to the market but given that the spanko community probably includes a fair chare of compuuter geeks I find it surprising that there aren't more computer games with a spanking theme.  I've seen - many years back - one based around Monopoly but they are few and far between.  It doesn't even need to be very sophisticated or graphical (although I don't mind if it is!) - it could be done as an adventure game where you roleplay a character, make decisions and take the consequences or whatever,  But there's virtually nothing out there.  Any examples you recommend?

YAY!!! I'm back!

Break time is over and I'm back and blogging!  I'll check the links over the next few days and note last dates alongside those that don't seem to be updating.

Meanwhile I thought readers (if I have any left) might like this ecologically friendly hybrid drive boat.  Standing in the boat with an oar you have the option of just paddling it in the water in the conventional fashion or applying it to the perfectly positioned outboard motor at the back of the boat to stimulate more work there.

Hiatus

There have been times when I've thought about ending this blog - I've had a lot of fun with it and on the occasions there has been positive feedback - even 'though that was less often than I might have hoped - I've had a real buzz from it.  However there have been times when, even 'though I know many people have taken the trouble to log in and read or view my posts there has been little feedback - positive or otherwise and as a blogger you can't help but wonder why you bother.  In the end, I decided I bother because it's good for me and I have to just smile when I get feedback and not be surprised when I don't.

However, right now, there are other issues and other priorities in my life so I may not post for a while.  Not sure how long - a week, a month, three months...  I will be back (even if it's just a final farewell from the blog) and I'm as passionate (if not more so) about the subject than ever so I will be pursuing my interests in other ways.

Thanks to everyone for understanding or, at least, acceptance, and look out for the return..

Favourite for December

Just to prove it doesn't always have to be about red bottoms (as long as there's plenty of that as well!). I'm sure this girl is actually very attractive but right now her looks are not her concern - the distress and pain showing through her face means that you are left in no doubt that she has been given a jolly good hiding and is now regretting her behaviour.

This will be my last post for at least two weeks so wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year.  See you in 2012.

A seasonal reminder

It's a long time since last Christmas so I thought I should remind folk, should you have to deal with any naughty behaviour over the festive season, a short branch cut from a fresh Christmas tree can be a most useful implement.  Nicely whippy and flexible yet strong, and with pine needles to add a certain extra merry sting.  Replace the Ho Ho Ho of Christmas with Ow Ow Ow!

Lloyds

I'm trying to get some work done on a report that I need to present at work next week but can hear a 24 hours news programme on a TV in the background.  I keep getting distracted as one of the big news stories concerns "Lloyds Banking Group" which it is all to easy to not hear quite correctly...
