I've always had a thing for school settings for CP scenes. However I've generally veered away from bare bottom scenes as being just too far-fetched, and anyway we all know that in the days when English schools were ruled with a rattan cane girls were much less likely to be caned than boys and when they were it was most commonly applied across the palms of their hands. But, it was certainly not unheard of for a girl to be acned across her bottom. And if she was wearing fairly short skirt and was ordered to bend over for her caning, it is certainly not out of the question that the hem of the skirt might not totally cover the target area and as such might be in danger of impeding the desired contact. And in that situation, the headmaster might be faced with no real alternative but to use the tip of the cane to flip her skirt up on to her back to allow him to deliver a truly memorable six of the best across her traditional school knickers. Six good hard strokes like that will be something she'll remember for a very long time, and will probably give her considerable reason to reflect on her behaviour. The blur of the cane in this image leaves no room for doubt that she's milliseconds away from experiencing a very fiercely learning pain.
And that, as they say, is that. My final ever favourite of the month. There may be a few more posts this month - who knows. In July there will be no favourite and no posts, and at the end of July the blog will be closed for ever...

I am reliably reassured, by early Janus, mid 1970s, and by British besties and colleagues; that when this girl gotten chastised at home with the cane back in the good Ol' days, her knickers would be duly pulled down to her knees!! And so six of the best or preferably a baker"s dozen would be keenly felt on a bare-skinned surface!!
(Oh my! I can verify that most terrible botty sting for sure - because panties down was how I gotten the dreaded cane at home!!)

As a Southern belle from Georgia ( age 66) I always gotten an affinity with British CP genre - both at school & home. This is principally because (from a tender age of 7) I was raised to feel the cane whistle across my bare botty from my religious, kind, if very stern mother when I misbehaved. Likewise for my sister. We were slightly unusual in that respect (so to speak ha-ha!) because the chief bottom smacker for daughters at home in Georgia, was the strap or belt.....applied to bare buttocks in the South too already, it should be emphasized. At school, CP was with the paddle (& still is)
& as an adjunct, the switch was also prevalent in Southern homes for naughty lil' princesses' bare hinies.
This photo reminds me that I have contributed to the improved behaviour of many princess brats in Georgia (especially in our local Church 'hood) both directly & indirectly. Directly ? Well raising my two daughters with firm discipline (aka smacked bottoms !!!) with the rod. Indirectly ? Why, through my advice to church moms re their own daughters' behaviour & discipline.
Well, over many years, James, young Church moms have gotten to ask me about raising their young daughters....& the subject of discipline (Christian compliant). These redoubtable new, young Southern church moms believed in not "sparing the rod", and so I was pushing an open door with my advice, so to speak. Oh my! I told them of my own strict upbringing...and how I raised my daughters the exact same way. I joked that a mom's best friend is not the hairbrush....pray, it is a flexible rattan cane !
Yup! My advice to y'all moms was to invest in a really super, top quality cane, made of the finest, crafted, ultra- whippy- thin rattan. No expense spared. And no naughty girls' bottoms spared either. Yes, mom, it is a good investment !!!!!
And sadly, to be frank, designed for the bare botty too in my opinion, James! Not meant to sting through a naughty girl's dress or panties. No ma'am !! Not at home mom !!!! Knickers do not misbehave tender bottomed girls do !
Show them we care, cane them on the bare ! (as my mom did not say, but it sure was her strong, belief, delivery & purpose. Ouchieees ! Oh my! And she did have some amazing cute, scary phrases already, regarding bare bottom whoopings for me, my sister, my daughters and every naughty girl at home in America !!!!!!)
Well, James , I think every mother in our Church (who asked my opinion) has agreed with me ....since the 1980s ! Discussions confirmed the strict protocol: skirts up, shorts & panties down to knees in the living room, jammies pulled down in the bedroom. Tender-skinned bottoms bare for the cane ! Voila - behaviour improved rapid style James !
My own two daughters certainly feared & felt the cane that way a bunch in the 80s & 90s, (as indeed, do my young granddaughters today, now graduated to the cane with panties pulled down, from previous bare bottom visits with the hairbrush over mom's knee). And it was how I gotten it as a lil' girl in the 60s & 70s.
Oh my! Why, the cane has been well received (by the moms, not the daughters !!!!) & I do notice a really strong preference for the cane from my African American besties at church, and also my Nigerian friends from both work & out of work/ social. And yes, botties on show, denuded & unprotected almost without exception for their recalcitrant girls, James .... "I ain't gotten no argument with the seat of your panties missy" seems to be the guaranteed, absolute sacrosanct strict mantra (thank the Lord James, no woke/PC in my suburb !!)
So yes.....I have no formal data to present, James (sadly ha-ha!) just real life anecdotes, but my bespoke maternal advocacy of "cane to bare botty" has improved the attitude of many girls in Georgia, just like the cane (strap, tawse & plimsoll) did in the UK for daughters at home in the post war period 1940s - 1990s. God bless those Church moms, James. Superheroes one & y'all !
