Regular visitors to this blog will probably have realised that I may get a buzz from lots of things within the realms of the CP world, but the absolute number one has to always be credible schoolgirl canings. It has to be as authentic as possible - that's not that I can't enjoy seeing a girl take a punishment on her bare bottom, but we all know that when the cane ruled in UK schools, bare bottom canings were about as rare as hens teeth. Lots of images are, to my mind, slightly spoiled by things like inappropriate footwear, tattoos and so on. Of course it helps if the girl being punished is attractive and looks like she could be of school age (while of course, being over 18 and fully consenting in real life).
Therefore this picture ticks so many boxes. Although we don't get to see the girl's face very clearly (I don't actually recognise here from other photo shoots either - anyone help?) she does look attractive and credible, there are no tattoos to spoil things and she's in the classic position. The school uniform is also classic including the authentic school regulation knickers. Would a teacher actually turn back a girl's skirt before caning her? Quite possibly yes - in a case like this where it's a female teacher with nobody else present, I think it's perfectly possible that the skirt would be turned up. You can note that she's also taken the precaution of closing the curtains - whether to protect the girl's privacy or to protect herself from allegations we can only guess. The teacher - a rather more familiar face on the scene - also looks suitably serious and not excited by what is about to happen. All in, a remarkably believable image where you are led to consider that this girl is about to be on the receiving end of a very hard and painful caning that she will remember for a long time to come.

I would agree with James. So many technically excellent photoshoots of Girls cp make the most elementary mistakes with things that would neither of been permitted in school or of the period in question typical 1960's through late 80's they are trying to recreate.
I would agree with both James and Joanne and in addition the somewhat cluttered desk is a nice touch of authenticity. To me the teacher looks fed up as if she has ben interrupted in her work by this girl. Even turning the skirt up was unusual but it did and could happen. There are several biographies around that have small references to punishments that were probably frowned on even at the time.

Yes, a very authentic scenario. Her skirt has been folded away so as not to absorb, and thereby lessen, the impact of the cane. The uniform is classic 50's when many secondary schools and all grammar schools insisted upon a strict uniform code. Though we cannot see, I'm sure the skirt, sweater, blouse and knickers are complmented by white knee length socks and 'sensible' shoes. (Judging by the angle of the cane in this picture I think this young lady is about to be 'gated', although it might just be a trick of the perspective.
Having met her a number of times at parties and been on the receiving end - albeit 'medium strength' - of her canes, slippers and straps, I recognise the 'teacher', who, when I met her, had the name of Miss Hastings-Gore.
Thank you Targetarear. Your comment made me look again although I still don't recognise the lady but then I have never met her in person. However, the second look made me 'see' the curtains and they are surely a genuine period piece. I am sure we once had something like that. At least girls today don't have to wear regulation knickers.

This looks like a case of instant justice. The girl's raised skirt and bare legs make her look pretty vulnerable in front of the head teacher. As far as we can see the look on her face she is feeling the effects of the cane on her bottom.
Oh my ! Lovely post & scene, James. You will be re-assured that my two young daughters gotten the cane (a thinner, flexi-rattan "switch") with their bottoms appropriately bare & their knickers around their knees when they received chastisement from me "in front of God" & in our living room at home, in their childhoods, back in the 1980s/90s. I was a strict, loving, conservative mother & tolerated no PC or wishy-washy nonsense with my girls. They are in their 30s now & staunchly pro-spanking, naturally.
At age 60 I am an Ol' fashioned enough mother fortunate to have completely ignored PC, James. I never spanked my girls in public but in the privacy of our home, I always felt there was no reason not to pull down their panties from the first spanking to the very last. That was the rule. No Snowflakes gotten raised under my watch.
Knickers down for a spanking from an early age for telling lies or bad behaviour was humbling and the real nasty shock & sting of the lil' whippy cane on a bare botty was completely harmless...& most salutary. That is the essential essence of a spanking ! As my God-fearing mommy used to say, "It is supposed to sting. It is punishment, Brenda !"...well, she still does say that already, she is alive & well into her eighties now. Oh my !
Yes, I sure felt that exact same ferocious (hornets nest) sting on my bare bum when I was a child along with my sister back in the 1960s...mother kept an identical, flexible, rattan switch the cupboard for admonishment in the Christian tradition. Oh my !
Within our Church group in suburban Georgia, in those 1960s, it was more common for daughters to have gotten their bare backsides tanned with the Southern strap at home, but we girls gotten the rattan cane at home, aka that flexible, Southern switch. Applied safely & diligently to sensitive, porcelain-white skin on our chubby, bare botties !! Oh my ! Job done for sure. Our mom did not use the strap.
In their early years, my girls gotten the hairbrush & rubber spatula on their bare bottoms over my knee, & then gotten the cane from age eight...same as I gotten as a child, already.
I love your UK vintage photos on your Blog, James. Like this one with green knickers. The Schoolgirl theme translates well into my domestic experience because your choices are so authentic & powerful. The contexts sure do translate. There is no-unrealistic embellishment or inappropriate, pornographic details. Just the sober reality of corporal punishment which has been a fact of life for me over many decades.
For sure, spankings at school in UK & USA (where applicable) were over clothes, not bare bottoms. Absolutely not. I do not go for the spanking fantasies myself, James, But for me , my friends and then later for my own daughters, cotton knickers (or swimsuits/ PJ bottoms) gotten pulled down without exception for proper whoopings with the "rod of correction" on bare rear-ends in the appropriate manner in private at home. And thank the Lord it is still common for that Spanking with Love culture in the South today, already.
