In general my spanking interests are centred some way from the BDSM end of the spectrum - nevertheless, if I was thinking of buying a new bed, this one does offer some practical advantages in the way of additional storage while still looking very stylish.

When I was God-blessed with my two daughters in the 1980s, James, I kept my trusty Mason Pearson hairbrush on the dressing table for their naughty bottoms (knickerless cheeks too it goes without saying).
My young girls then quickly graduated to the much-feared "mom's best friend" - my finest, quality, ultra-whippy- thin rattan cane: duly kept handy, salutary, SCARY n Spartan in the downstairs cupboard for their chubby, bare, sensitive-skinned bottoms for lies or disobedience. YUP! I sure was a very strict, loving mom. No-nonsense, trad n Ol' fashioned James. And Oh my! It was all so very normal & necessary in yore, I can tell you !!!
That said, failing a cupboard ? Why, I guess I would have kept the rod on the shelf :-)
