Yes, James, I vividly recall - pray ruefully recall - the occasions (many epochs ago) when mom grabbed two waistbands at once and pulled down my shorts n pretty princess panties in one huge tug; then bent me over the sofa for the cane ! Wow! Some impressive, pragmatic manoeuvre that one (sadly Boo-Hoo !!)

Interesting, from memory, James (pray, from my God darn memoirs !) that the bottom baring process for mom's dreaded, much-feared rattan cane, varied in extremis: between 0.8 seconds with this double-waistband-shorts-n-panties-grab -n-pull- down technique.....to several exhausting, exasperating minutes with my lush, denim or corduroy dungarees :-)
