Caned Every Day revisited

I wrote earlier this year about a curious film called Caned Every Day published under the Miss Marchmont imprint.

It was very clearly intended to be the follow-up to the film That'll Teach Them which ended with the three girls being warned that they would be caned every day for a week if they broke the rules again. The only part of Caned Every Day that ever seemed to make it to film was supposedly day 2 of such a punishment because their headmistress says that they are to be caned today, as they were yesterday, and in fact, will be caned every day this week. We've never seen any evidence of day one being filmed - it might have been that the plan was that on day one they would be allowed to keep some clothing on over their bottoms so it could be filmed last when the girls' bottoms were already marked from four 'days' of caning.

However, what I did recently come across was a single image that appears to come from another 'day'.

It's not the best of quality but it is clearly in the same room as the canings that made their way to film. It features Miss Brown and the girl known in the film as Elaine. However, in the 'day' that made it to film the girls entered the room one by one in full school uniform. They bent over and Miss Brown turned back their skirts and pulled down their knickers before caning them. This time Elaine has had to remove her gymslip - we can't tell whether or not she had been made to take her own knickers down or not. But, it's clearly evidence that more of the story was filmed. I'm now more curious than ever to know what really happened to prevent the whole 'week' from making it to film.
