The Blogroll is now in three parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated with the most recent first. Many blogs use the BDSMLR platform which does not include date information; they are in a separate Blogroll arranged alphabetically but I check from time to time and remove any that have been permanently closed. The final part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds - again in alphabetical order.

In times of crisis, if incumbent high maintenance lil' princess brats cannot control their tantrums & behaviour already, there will be much more of this tickle-tail. As you say, retrospective consideration of Ol' fashioned discipline in homes across the globe.

In my strict, religious, most happy childhood in Atlanta in the 1960s & beyond, (more Kodak black n white photos than colour) the enlightened Civil Rights movement brought fascinating times of hope & fear, darkness & light for y'all. Sometimes the strict demands & tensions from Church, parents & "authorities" on our behaviour for me & my lil' sister were very stern, restrictive & acute. Oh my! And with routine, uncomfortable consequences for a certain part of our anatomy when we gotten naughty !!!
"Naughty Lil' Princess felons gonna get a switching": My God-fearing mother often lacked compromise. This photo is scary & too accurate! I gotten whooped pretty much exactly as shown with the "rod" (rattan switch-cane) with my botty appropriately clothed...oh dear, exactly as shown!!
Ouchieees! We feared & felt it like this brat on the bare (no need for panties in times of crisis, already!). Oh my! It was just normal, James. That was the punishment. Even gotten referred to as "Biblical switching" (scary!) by our elderly, pious neighbours. Oh my!

Well parents have the opportunity now they've all become teachers. They've had a week and 2 days now to become exasperated so slippers and canes must become essential supplies. Old Tom
Cane to bare botty is normal & salutary: Covid update for 2021.
And still the pandemic rages on in June 2021, James. I sure hope that the behaviour of daughters & nieces has improved somewhat during this sad time.
This photo evidences a far superior method (essential method!) of discipline for naughty girls to the naughty step. A method that both myself as a child & my two daughters gotten used to as a normal aspect of strict, loving family life. No wokerati, PC, snowflakes or timeouts steps existed in Georgia in the 1960s or 1980s/90s respectively, James!! Oh my! Or as I say, groundings are fine for recalcitrant princesses, especially after a sound, bare bottom skelpin'!
Out comes the cane. Down come the panties. Simple. In fact, my daughters (now in their mid to late 30s!) staunchly agree & are pro-spanking. A perfect correlation with Covid tensions & salutary remedies at home. Thanks, James. Brenda xx

Well, five years on from Covid (the start not the finish) and things are generally back to "normal". And if this affirmative action (I approve!) of "cane to bare botty" sternly replaced the wishy-washy naughty step (with statistical significance) for dealing with naughty daughters at home, during the two years of Covid; well, let us hope & pray that is simply one good thing from the Pandemic that has not changed & is still in place (unlike her knickers) since 2020 ! As shown, for good parental guidance notes, in this visceral, authentic, wonderful photo, which naturally portrays my own happy if strict childhood (& consequences of misbehaviour) way back in the 1960s/70s CP good.
