Guide to this blog

The Blogroll is now in three parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated with the most recent first. Many blogs use the BDSMLR platform which does not include date information; they are in a separate Blogroll arranged alphabetically but I check from time to time and remove any that have been permanently closed. The final part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds - again in alphabetical order.

Favourite for November

A lot of the images we see on spanko sites of girls who have had their bare bottoms spanked, end up with just a sort of round pinkish patch on each buttock.  That is generally achieved by applying a large number of smacks without very much force.  I'm not dismissing that or trivialising it - the discomfort is likely to build and build and it can still be very effective.  However, in the real world, when someone gets spanked the person inflicting the punishment probably wants to get it over with fairly quickly and may well be a little annoyed with the person they're punishing.  Hence, fewer smacks but with a lot more force.  That appears to be what we're seeing the results of in this case.  Much less even reddening and some very clear fingermarks around the edges.
A lovely image from the good folk at AEG (RealSpankings)

A stinging bottom does no harm.

Very interesting post, James thank you. I love the authentic photos & comments as always. And I completely concur - I must try harder to disagree with you, already Sir ! ha-ha :-)

This sight is naturally very familiar to me for sure, James. It is a normal, routine fact of family like in the South. I raised my two wonderful daughters (now in their 30s) with normal, strict, old-fashioned discipline: yes, there was only one punishment for them; & let me reassure you that the naughty step had not gotten invented yet, James!

And then also for me as a 1950s born daughter, raised in a strict, Christian family (along with my lil' sister) & our close Church community in our suburb of Atlanta. Whoopings were routine. Oh my !
Back in the early 1960s our mother used to say that "hands are for loving & the rod of correction is for spanking". And yes James, as you say here,

"the person inflicting the punishment probably wants to get it over with fairly quickly and may well be a little annoyed with the person they're punishing. "

That person was our mother & she gotten annoyed with me & my sister a whole bunch. Oh my ! And so with 1950s, canary yellow dresses hoisted our 1950s, cotton, white knickers pulled down, (without exception), she created a morass of scarlet stings on our bare, alabaster-white botties with the dreaded lil' rattan cane, aka "the switch" aka the "hornets nest." Our peers & fellow princess friends in our Church gotten the strap & paddle, which were also common, as y'all know.

My own young daughters naturally gotten the same in turn & I kept that same lil' rattan switch-cane in the cupboard for their bare seats: no snowflake PC required, James. We all screamed & squawked in days of yore as our tender, bare botties stung like Hell from "the rod", but it was all completely harmless & salutary as evidenced by your normal, familiar photo here, James. Just par for the course when misbehaviour prevailed.

The Church folks & other moms gotten to say that God had provided a suitable, sensitive-skinned, chubby, well-padded place for loving chastisement. Like mother, like daughter, sure thing James !
Regards & thank you for your Blog.
