The Blogroll is now in three parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated with the most recent first. Many blogs use the BDSMLR platform which does not include date information; they are in a separate Blogroll arranged alphabetically but I check from time to time and remove any that have been permanently closed. The final part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds - again in alphabetical order.

The slipper... oh dear how I remember that Old Tom
I never gotten the slipper, Old Tom. It was the cane for me. Although my mom gotten to wave her flip-flop at me & my sister a bunch on our holidays in the 60s !
If mother said in the store, "Brenda, your backside needs a switching !" I was nearly doomed already. So I needed to act real quick to avoid the smack of that rattan cane on my bare botty back at home. Oh my !
I might add that my two young daughters also had to behave real quick to avoid that exact same outcome at home (that I gotten) over two decades later ! Like mother, like daughter. Ah BUT Brenda I did experience the cane but at school... often. No crook handles on the council supplied canes which were in abundance in every school... ye seven junior (7 to 11 years). Strangely I have no social difficulties, am not an alcoholic, don't take drugs, have been married many, many decades and never had trouble holding down a job. I can't understand it as so many these days say that's the outcome of all CP. Old Tom

Yes, I totally agree with you. My sentiments entirely. PC is CP backwards. Go figure !
Glad you gotten the cane, so to speak ! Back when UK & Europe were like my Georgia (US state) on this issue, especially in the home !
Why, I gotten to say to my two young daughters, just like my mother said to me as a lil' girl (as my panties gotten took down for the cane) "an unbearable stinging bottom right now, will stop you getting into trouble when you are older."
That sure was the case. It whipped me & them into shape. As you have alluded to yourself. My girls are happy & pro-spanking & thank me for my strict, old fashioned ways. Not that spanking PC was invented as an option back then at all. Oh my ! Regards to you Old Tom & to you James. Brenda xx
