We get so little really nice sunny summer weather in the UK that inevitably there are some things you are bound to forget from one time to the next.
Like, it's a really scorching day and you know a secluded little beach that nobody ever goes to and won't be overlooked. You reach there and waste no time stripping off and soaking in the sun - after a while you have a splash about in the sea for a while to cool down and then return to the sun worshipping to allow yourself to slowly dry off.
Eventually, sadly, it's time to leave and that's when you remember!
Sand is really sticky stuff, and it's hard to get rid of it all before you put your clothes back on but it will be very uncomfortable if you don't.
Okay, so let me help - hand my one of your flip-flops and I'll show you just how we can remove that nasty sand!
And of course I hope you remembered when you first got to the beach - always SLIP-SLOP-SLAP!

I was raised in the early 1960s, when girls bottoms were very well hidden & covered (conservative protocol & strict fashion).....unless of course, those very same daughters were getting a spanking or caning. And then their tender-skinned bottoms were most definitely very uncovered indeed !!!!
As a strictly, religiously raised child, tween n teen - A Southern belle in Georgia - I so loved the paradox of y'all conservative, God-fearing, Church- communities. Our soft, chubby, fairest-white girly botties were always well-covered by conservative, goody two-shoes 1950s clothes. But the moment we girls misbehaved, OH MY! - then Woooosh ! - our bathing suits bottoms or 1950s pretty knickers were pulled down to our knees - exposing our sguishy-white Copper-tone- girl botties to the ferocious sting of mother's hand or hairbrush, rubber flip-flop....on the beach, in the park, in the shopping mall, in the parking lot, in the store, on the front porch (red back porch), in the garden. Oh my! The great outdoors, James.. Quite right too. It was a Southern thang, James. very strict ! Still is today, thank the Lord.
What a paradox it was. Now, in the UK EU et al, the opposite is true (since the late 80s).....al fresco spankings are no more. Yet bare bottomed fashion displays & tiny bikinis for girls (& boys !!) are ubiquitous. This was the fact that so angered Janus Readers (evidenced by their Letters) the 1970s, as they predicted the PC softly-softly, anti-CP trend. STOPP the cane wave etc.

I still love this PARADOX of my strict, conservative, normal. happy childhood in Georgia & South Carolina - of our chubby bottoms well-covered for modest conservative, values & timid, polite society-sensibilities.. And ergo: daughters bottoms then totally bared for fierce, normal & necessary punishment from mom (or pop).....indoors at home, & outdoors in public.
Intriguingly, my sister & I never gotten our bottoms bared for a spanking by our strict, loving mother in public on the beach, in the park etc.

We were ironically & surprisingly the "exceptions". Other girls were fascinated that we were "spared the bare" on the beach or in the parking lot. Alas, we were not "spared the bare" back at home !!!! OH MY ! No !!
Mom was conservative (in her own religious way) & thought our bottoms should not be exposed for spankings in public.
So we gotten a few slaps on our thighs as a warning
Back at home from the beach ? Why yes, for sure, out came the cane & down came our panties in the living room !! Botties on show for serious chastisement which was just normal in our house
We were always punished on our bare buttocks with cane from age 8 to 18. That was the rule. We never thought otherwise back then.
So yes, James, this girl in the photo gets the parental cane on her bare botty at home, when naughty. She enjoys her freedom right now :-)
