Despite what I've said in my previous post, I can't help liking this masterpiece schoolgirl shot from Janus 41. She looked every inch a schoolgirl, the unfashionable grey knee-high socks were a touch of genius, and the facial expression suggested that the plastic ruler being applied to her bottom was very stingy indeed. This is one of a relatively few Janus shots in colour that show marks on the bottom and they look like they could well be genuine. This is actually the first time I've featured a second shot from the same sequence in my "favourites" - the previous one featured some time back but they really are classic images.

Not just the socks (very good indeed) but those shoes too. I get sick of seeing supposed schoolgirls in 6 inch heeled white shoes or the like. The knickers have that sturdy look look as well quite unlike modern underwear. Ofcourse a bare bottom punishment, although examples do exist, were very rare but can be excused with such an excellent picture. Thank you.

What the heck is up with British men and school girl uniforms! I spent some time in England with a man who got me to put on that bloomin' uniform just once. I had to bend over a stool and get the tawse. I felt so silly dressed up in that garb! (I'm American). Anyway....I did do it the one time....but no mas! Just wondered why they all seem to like the 'little girl' look or at least under age look. I didn't wear stilettos....I think I just wore knee sox. Anyway....fun blog....just thought I'd ask!!!
I reckon it goes back to school days. I attended a State Secondary School - the UK equivalent of a US High School - between 1962 and 1968at a time when corporal punishment was a regular occurence. But it was always the boys, never the girls.
(That's not quite true; I remember once seeing a girl being whacked on her backside with a gymnshoe, but only after she had 'dared' the teacher to do it).
But we boys got it almost daily; I quickly lost count of how many times I was on the receiving end.
The girls used to snigger and giggle when they saw the boys being caned or slippered, and I am sure I wasn't the only one that wondered what it would be like for us boys to see the girls getting the same.
So now we are grown up, I suppose that the schoolgirl spanking scenario is one way of achieivng that. And of course, it is also possible that, subconsciously, we are exacting our 'revenge' for the unfairness of it all.
I've only once spanked a woman dressed as a schollgirl, but insisted she dress appropriately. I told her not to wear one of those ridiculously short tartan (plaid) skirts, stilletto heels or stockings and suspenders that are a feature of so many videos, all of which are totaly incongruous to the scenario, Only a knee-length skirt and sensible flat shoes were allowed.
It worked for me for a while, until I pulled her panties down to spank her bare bottom; totally unrealistic. So now, when I spank a woman I get her to dress in simple 'everyday' clothes, the kind she might wear to work or to the shops. Just as satisfying.

Authentic Janus in the 1970s - mesmerising and normal.
A compelling post, James, as I remember discovering Janus & Roue in the Atlanta stores in the 1970s. I was a university student & had escaped a happy, wonderful but very strict, Southern, religious childhood with my loving, God-fearing mother (AKA a normal childhood in 1960s Georgia, James!!)
The wise Janus editors stated, mid 1970s, that daughters at home should be raised with "a sensible panties down caning" when they misbehaved. Oh my! Sure thing! This advocacy became my First Amendment, James!! It was most appropriate, that as a naughty child, (born late 1950s) I frequently gotten my 1950s dress hoisted & my 1950s knickers pulled down to have my bare bottom soundly spanked with the cane in the living room. From an early age mother punished sister & me with her dreaded spanking stick (AKA "the hornets nest") which was a quality, flexible, thin, rattan cane. We gotten it countless times through childhood & teens & always on our bare botties without exception. Such punishment was normal.
I developed an affinity (albeit virtual as was in the 1970s ha-ha) with British girls who gotten the cane on their bare backsides from strict parents. As a student, my spanking facts came from Janus & Roue (then later Nu West) & I so loved the authentic reporting, photos, readers' letters & articles. Why, I did not want fantasy stories or sexual material: just realistic coverage of British girls at school and home 1950s-70s (buttocks gotten bared for chastisement with cane or plimsoll in the norm at home).

I strongly related to this, James, & I met a few female colleagues & fellow mothers over the years who gotten the cane growing up, rather than the strap. Always discrete, I asked questions to get information where I could. CP has always fascinated me. And remember, Atlanta is spanking central, James, even today in 2021.
For sister & me having our lily white botties bared, back in the 60s/70s, for a good whooping with the cane in front of God was a normal, necessary part of discipline for naughty deeds in childhood yore. We gotten it a lot! This harsh punishment was harmless & sure whipped us into shape as good considerate citizens. Oh my! I always pulled their knickers down because that is the only way it should be done, firmly on the bare bot. "Harmless Hell" I call it. It was normal in my book. The message sure gotten through.
