The Blogroll is now in three parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated with the most recent first. Many blogs use the BDSMLR platform which does not include date information; they are in a separate Blogroll arranged alphabetically but I check from time to time and remove any that have been permanently closed. The final part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds - again in alphabetical order.

A timeless piece.
Hi James, I also love this sequence & I do remember this the first time around, early 1980s, I think! Oh my! As a happy student myself (punky rebellious brat ha-ha) in Atlanta in the 1970s, I was mesmerised & compelled to discover Janus, London Life, Roue and others (Blushes in early 1980s). I liked the quirky & realistic UK schoolgirl themes, & most of all, the mother/daughter or father/daughter domestic scenarios.
The quality photos & stories in Janus etc, of naughty girls having their bare bottoms caned was a unique experience for me. The scenes were totally realistic. And as a child, born 1959, I had gotten my bare botty whooped with the cane by mom countless times. That was the only punishment in our Christian family for sister & me. And it was just normal punishment. The rod was never spared. Yes, for sure in Georgia we often called it a "switch" or spanking stick, whoopy stick or any number of colloquial terms, but Janus CP translated across the pond very well!
By the mid 1980s Janus & other mags had gone downhill, IMHO. Oh my! The focus on domestic CP & schoolgirl classroom scenes had given way to staged, designer-style, theatrical montages (quite misogynistic, already) of a man and a pretty female model in a country house (fantasy rich pickings) rather than a naughty daughter receiving just desserts from her strict, loving parents in a normal fashion. However, Blushes then gotten to be the new great CP magazine, Thank the Lord.
In recent years I gotten to adore Sarah Gregory's work, like, Strictmoor Academy & Momma Spankings which show naughty daughters having their bottoms bared & well-spanked in a realistic fashion, with authentic scolding...exactly like I gotten from my God-fearing, mother as a child.
I obviously like the panties down at the end here for Marjorie, already. In my school in Atlanta, spankings with the paddle were over clothes (I never gotten CP at school, myself) but all whoopings with the cane at home from mom, were on the bare skin of our backsides. That is how it gotten done. I knew chastisement no other way as a lil' girl. My girlfriends gotten spanked similar on the bare (various implements) as suggested by Church ministers.
But the heyday pinnacle of Janus, say, 1979-1985 was an exiting time. I recall a powerful memory of seeing The school Lesson edition of Janus in the Fall of 1979. In addition to wonderful colour stills from the film, the inside page editorial recommended that parents apply a thin, flexible cane to the backsides of their naughty young daughters...with knickers pulled down, already. No wishy-washy nonsense!!
The editorial perfectly described how the safety aspect, intense, deserved sting on sensitive bare skin, humbling & traditional aspect of bare bottom whoopings makes for a salutary harmless punishment at home. Oh my! For sure! I so strongly agreed already, as a twenty-year-old back then, & my parents so strongly agreed too. My religious mother (now in her 80s ) is the staunchest supporter of spanking as a normal, strict, kind part of maternal duties & my childhood punishment on my bare bum with her cane (1960s/70s) was exactly as Janus had advocated in 1979.
Oh my! Long time ago. Good memories of yore, James :-)
