The Blogroll is now in three parts. The main part is arranged according to the date the blog was last updated with the most recent first. Many blogs use the BDSMLR platform which does not include date information; they are in a separate Blogroll arranged alphabetically but I check from time to time and remove any that have been permanently closed. The final part is a list of interesting Twitter feeds - again in alphabetical order.

Old album
Amazing what precious memories some people have stored away in their old photo albums....
This is a great picture and could be true of those days! These days if a teacher put his arms around a girl he would be in trouble !Back in the late 90's our daughter was in her Aunt's school so we received frequent up dates on her work and behaviour in school. We were therefore able to react promptly to any problems! We were fairly strict but fair but that view was not shared by her!She felt we were very strict as none of her immediate friends faced spanking and caning as punishments for bad behavior or poor school work. We spanked her over the knee on her knickers then gave her corner time! For more serious matters she was caned by my wife .She would go into the lounge bringing the cane and had to bend over a chair, when all protection was removed. She would often be in tears before the first stroke on her bare bottom! She did well in exams and went to University and sometimes she still says we were too strict but she has a good job! TW
Some years ago a Cousin came to stay a couple of days whilst on a tour of the South coast with her two daughters. They were both wearing short skirts and I really wondered at my cousin allowing them to dress like that! I raised it with her and she smiled and then replied. "Well it is the fashion and short skirts have one big advantage. The girls are 'spanking ready' -well almost, aren't you !" The two girls 15 and 17,went very red in the face as their Mum looked at them and laughed and I joined in .The girls did not and then my cousin added, the 'almost' referred to removing a certain item of female under wear! This post made me wonder what an Album will look like ,in say 20/30 years time bearing in mind the technology now available! Many are already on computers and printed off for safe keeping! What an opportunity to record all sorts of family events and I am sure you follow my line of thinking!!How many sneaky photos ,or even camcorder films, of spankings are out there ,I wonder!!

I am afraid I am a lil' boring already & I like to comment on the reality of corporal punishment, because it has always featured strong, constant & simple in my life.
Why, this photo is my era, being born 1959. That is me & my wonderful lil' sister...she's nearly 60 already ha-ha !
I hope Mr Carr is their father. And I hope he caned them on their bare bottoms as part of normal, loving, strict parenting. That was normal for my happy childhood experiences & for the neighbourhood at large back in the day. Typical 1950s/60s traditional family life .
But Mr Carr is their teacher, I guess. So he caned them over their skirts, most likely. I did not get punished at school, James. It was too much to face my fierce mother ith bad reports. But Christian-advocated bare-bottom CP was routine for us at home when we lil' sisters gotten naughty. This is an awesome photo.
Our father did cane me & sister on our bare botties growing up in the 1960s, but it was really our religious, God-fearing, strict mom who was the chief whooper. Dad was away on business a lot & so mom found us a handful, already.
So when I was 8 mom gotten herself the cane for our tender bare botties, like she herself had been whipped growing up in the 1930s. Prior to that sister & me gotten spanked on the bare botty over her knee with the wooden spoon or hairbrush. That was also normal family life for our princess-gang buddies in our Church group (suburban Atlanta). "Spare the rod spoil the child" was a quote I heard every week somewhere in our locale in the 60s.
I staunchly agree with the sentiments in this photo, and the added narrative, James :-) I gotten God-blessed with my two daughters in the 1980s & they gotten raised with typical Southern tough love & plenty of CP when they deserved it. Harsh but fair on the bare.
As a strict, conservative, Christian-raised mother, I kept that same lil' whippy-thin, rattan cane in the cupboard, and my girls always had to bare their bottoms. In fact, I always puled their panties down to their knees as part of a formal, brief baring routine. Maximum sting of the cane on sensitive bare bums, maximum safety and some essential humbling for naughty girls. Same as I gotten it from my own mom. Harmless but salutary. Don't spare the bare !
I do love vintage photos depicting authentic domestic CP. I gotten to say that my 1960s childhood was a world of black n white....& our bottoms gotten very red !! That was normal. It's only the PC world of today that questions our beliefs, and questions our own narrative on our experiences & memoirs. Thank the Lord in Georgia, the PC is still diluted on spanking issues, James.
