I don't know what's going to happen here, but I would hazard a guess that if this guy is strong enough to pick his girl like this and carry her up to the bedroom, there's every possibility that he will be strong enough to deliver a very effective spanking to her bare backside, and she should probably prepare herself to be sobbing and have a fiery red bottom in a few moments time.

Favourite for November

If you know anything about me from reading my blog, you'll know that I like everything going around the punishment, just as much as the punishment scene itself.  I like to know the reasons for the punishment, the reaction of the one to be punished, and, of course, their response afterwards.

Hence I really like this image produced by the team at Punished Brats - perhaps not one of the biggest producers in this area but one with some very lovely models and consistently high production standards.

She's obviously in trouble already but what we all know just from this one snatched image is that the way she's reacting to being told off is going to make things a whole lot worse for her just now. I'd bet money on her having a very red and sore bottom in a few minutes time and she's making it so much more severe a hiding than it ever needed to be if she'd just had the good sense to show a little contrition...

Sorry it's a couple of days late - I blame my ISP for constantly dropping my connection...

Here's an old classic that has been going 'round on the whole World Wide Webby thing for ages.  I think it's almost certainly from NuWest.  It's one of those scenes where you have to wish the production qualities then could have been what they are now, and that we could have an image not scanned from a magazine (with some print showing through from the other side of the page). Nevertheless, the atmosphere is really electric.

It appears to be an American school scene and I believe this came at the conclusion to the story when the three naughty schoolgirls have each been subject to a very hard punishment with a wooden paddle across their knickers. Half of their attention is on the throbbing in their bottoms and they are clearly in some distress as they clutch their behinds hoping to ease the pain.  However, the much calmer vice-principal isn't ready to let them go just yet, and not before warning them that if there were to be any repetition of their behaviour she should have no hesitation in giving them a severe caning.

New Book?

Someone recently emailed me a comment about my "new" book published through the Library Of Spanking Fiction.  Although nice comments are always welcome I was a little surprised as I didn't know there was a new book.  It turns out that they've now published the previously offered 'The Spanked Schoolgirl Volume 1' and 'The Spanked Schoolgirl Volume 2' as a combined work.  Fine with me - I agreed a while back that they could keep whatever they could make from publishing them to go towards their running costs.  However, I wouldn't want anyone to part with cash for something they already have.

As for the question of whether they will ever be a Volume 3...?  Well, it's a good time to ask. I haven't been writing much for a while but I am close to completing another short story very soon and when that's done there will be five more heading off to the LSF website.  Watch this space!

Dreams (or nightmares?)

I had a very strange dream last night.  I was in London for a meeting but it wasn't London as we know it in the 21st century.  It was very grimy, the air was polluted, and not many people were about.  I had some time to kill before my meeting so I decided to take a walk around Soho.  It was quite early so places weren't really opening up yet for the day but down a little back lane I came across a shop with the sign JANUS over the door.  It wasn't open but as I stood looking at it the owners arrived to open up for the day and agreed that I could go in and have a look around.

It was quite gloomy and dusty inside - nothing like the Janus shop I remember on Old Compton Street.  There were a small number of enlarged colour images from the covers of old Janus magazines but for the most part everything on display for sale was produced by hand,  Someone had spent hours writing out longhand stories from old magazines that they had memorised and there were hand-drawn sketches of some of the photos that had appeared in those magazines. I didn't know what to make of it but at that moment one of the staff discovered a dead bat on the floor.

Like most dreams it just sort of ended there without any satisfactory conclusion.  All rather post-apocalyptic although it wasn't scary - it just seemed entirely natural. Perhaps this global pandemic thing is getting to me!

Favourite for September

I first came across this image in the second copy of Janus magazine that I purchased (although the image reproduced below comes from elsewhere).  They were running a series about spanking scenes in mainstream movies and this one featured June Allyson in the film 'Too Young To Kiss'.

The plot of the movie (from IMDb) is "Eric Wainwright (Van Johnson), a busy impresario, is besieged by hordes of wannabe concert stars, eager for their big break.  One of them is Cynthia Potter (June Allyson), a talented pianist... but she can't get in to see him.  When she learns that Wainwright is auditioning young musicians for a children's concert tour, Cynthia dons braces and bobby sox and passes herself off as a child prodigy."

On the occasion that led to the spanking she had thrown his cigarettes in the swimming pool.

I loved the image then and I still do now - I've always had a thing for ankle socks for starters!  A good traditional OTK hand spanking over the seat of her skirt was far more exciting to me than all the girls in what is more typically seen as "sexy" clothing such as the one featured on the cover of that particular magazine (shown at the end of the post).  

Unfortunately, as was quite often the case, the still shot for publicity purposes was very unlike the actual scene in the movie. Although Van Johnson's attire is more appropriate for being in the swimming pool, June's dressing gown would have rendered his attempt to spank her bottom even more ineffective than the skirt in the publicity still (and the ankle socks were missing!).  I often wonder why those doing the stills knew so much better than the film's director what an audience would enjoy.

Spanking scenes in mainstream movies have always been interesting to me.

Behind the scenes

The sorts of spanko websites I find myself looking at and the images and clips that interest me tend not to appear to be consensual.  I mean, I believe and hope that they are consensual, but scenes where the couple are fooling around and the girl is laughing and joking while getting spanked really don't do much for me.

That's why I think it's good that, at least from time to time, they publish some behind the scenes material to reassure the viewer, especially if they tend to the more severe end of the scale.  There are various ways they find of doing this.

This first image is quite old from the set of the Janus movie trilogy St Winifreds and is just a posed image of all the girls and some of the crew "on-set" looking relaxed and happy.

The next image is more contemporary with a bunch of girls chilling out with tea/coffee before the start of a day of shooting for one of Clare Fonda's Strictwood Academy films.

A slightly different approach here from Northern Spanking with an image taken when everyone started laughing during a scene and they had to take a break from shooting. They used to regularly put out clips on their website of the out-takes, many of which came about when people fluffed lines or were laughing too much. In the first image Jadie Reece couldn't stop herself laughing and then set the others off.

In the second Northern Spanking image they'd all been laughing and this image was shot as they regrouped themselves to restart filming - the scene was called Classroom Chaos and I think they were just enjoying making the chaos a bit too much.

I don't actually know the producer of this next image but they were definitely shooting s spanking movie.  Camera and lights are all set up, one girl is busy checking through the script while the others are goofing around waiting to get started - it looks very much as if the blonde girl is finding it hilarious to pretend to smack her own bottom.

Another one I'm afraid I can identify although it might be another Strictmoor Academy scene.  It looks as if they're taking a break in the middle of shooting - some of the girls have clearly already got pretty red bottoms , one is having the state of her marking checked out, and one has decided to start a bir of a riot at the front of the class.  All very clear indicators that, sore bottoms or not, they're all having a fun time.

Mood Pictures (aka Elite Pain) have no time for hilarity and lightheartedness in their films.  They are very severe and it is not unusual for them to draw blood. However they do a whole series of separate films under the Castings label where potential actresses are firstly interviewed about their experiences in a fairly friendly manner - a surprising number have no prior experience of corporal punishment suggesting that they may not be in the best place. They are then asked to strip naked for their "audition" where they are required to endure 50 hard strokes of the cane across their bottom and thighs. Many call for for it to be stopped long before they get to the end - this one, named Yasmine Taylor, managed just eight.  The premise is that usually only those that reach the full fifty will be offered a paid role in one of Mood's movies.

From the producer's point of view this is probably quite sensible because of the costs that will be involved if someone decides they don't want to be filmed nude or they can't go on in the middle of an expensive shoot, perhaps involving several girls. It also makes sense given that their studios were raided during a shoot a few years ago by armed police and accused of coercion (an interesting film appeared on YouTube - still there if you care to search for it within YouTube). It may also reassure those viewing their material (it's a bit too extreme for me) that the girls are going into it willingly, if not necessarily for enjoyment of the process then at least for the financial rewards.

 

Next, one from the guys at Spanking Server/Pain4Fem. I haven't seen much behind-the-scenes stuff from them and in general the girls are very quiet and compliant and sometimes get quite hard punishments which they take with the minimum of fuss.  They tend to be quasi-judicial scenes where they just have to take what is being dished out to them.  This is a really unusual picture of one of their models clearly enjoying the whole thing while they're taking a break in proceedings, despite the fact that she's being held down securely in what is probably quite an uncomfortable position and is probably about to to get her bottom whipped.

Another studio that does some fairly severe and certainly authentic stuff is the one that started as Rigid East, morphed into Lupus Pictures, and is now Quirky Way.  Their website has a number of images behind the scenes.

These include, the players rehearsing scenes in their normal street clothes before getting into costume...

...generally goofing around for the camera...

... or lying tummy down, sometimes with a cloth soaked in cold water to ease their discomfort at the end of a shoot...

...and getting some much needed refreshment.  Whatever, it is pretty clear that, while the punishment doled out in their scenes are for real and would be pretty painful, the girls clearly enjoy it.  A number of them have appeared in several movies for the site.

The last studio I've looked at is best known for RealSpankings.com. I can remember a long time ago they used to advertise for potential models on their website quoting rates dependent on whether the girl would show her face, whether she would take her clothes off and whether spankings had to be faked or for real.  They've come a long way since then.

The punishments now are all for real and in some cases are quite strong.  Rather like Mood, each new model first of all does an interview/spanking movie but these are much more light hearted and less robust.  They chat for a bit first and almost all of their models are into the scene already, at least with their boyfriend, and some have 'played' in front of others at spanking parties. Then, like Mood, they are required to get full undressed in front of the cameras to make sure they're happy to do that, and then they're put into a classic OTK position and given a quite lengthy but light hand spanking. Even a light hand spanking begins to tingle if it goes on long enough so there's usually a little bit of wriggling and reaction before the end.  Nowadays they usually then pause before giving a final 10 hand smacks with the kind of force they would normally use on a shoot.  Then they take a look at the marks and chat a bit more with the model.  Most don't have much of a problem with the scene and many, such as Mabel seen here, seem to have really enjoyed themselves.  At present, because of COVID-19, they've adapted to  use a leather paddle.

RealSpankings also do quite a few scenes that are not really in role at all - sometimes getting models to try different implements and compare them, or (not so much recently) getting them to punish each other.  They have a long running series called School Swats where they aim to re-create what a school paddling might be like.  That follows a well established pattern - the girl is normally dressed, pulls down her jeans and panties to show the existing level of marking and then pulls them back up, bends over and gets the swats over her jeans delivered pretty well full on.  The one concession to the fact these are experienced and mature spankos and not frightened teenagers is that they usualy give ten swats which is way more than is used in contemporary school practice in the southern USA.

Another innovation from The RealSpankings studio was, for a short period, they tried including before and after scenes with the models talking to camera in their dressing room. In this one, from 2017, we see Mabel arrive in the dressing room in her ordinary outdoor clothes, talk to camera about feeling a bit nervous, and then watch her strip and change into her schoolgirl outfit.  After the scene we see her back in the dressing room, showing off a very red bottom and  laughing about it as she gets ready to shoot the next scene.

Favourite for August

Something of a tradition going on here.  If you got corporal punishment at school and especially if it had been across your bottom, there was often an expectation that you would display the marks for inspection by your school mates.  In my opinion, this worked at its best in the English tradition where the cane would have been the most usual implement.  There is nothing more dramatic than seeing six red cane stripes across a pale creamy bottom.  It was a good way of earning some kudos from your classmates and, hopefully, some admiration for how well you'd coped with your ordeal. Being English, I may be biased, but I don't really feel the marks left by a paddle or strap are nearly as good and when times changed and it became more normal to cane across the hands, it would be unusual to get interesting marking.

In the fascinating book "Terms and Conditions - Life in Girls' Boarding Schools 1939-1979" by Ysenda Maxtone Graham there is an account of three girls who decided to run away from their school and took refuge with a local family who phoned the school to arrange for them to be returned. While the school representative was very friendly and concerned for the girls when they were with the family, the tone changed as soon as they were on their way back to the school.

The girls were kept in confinement in the main part of the house that night: the scented, carpeted, mahogany, potpourri side. Later the next day they were released back into the community but we were told we should not speak to them.  With horror and fascination we watched as Joanna slowly pulled up her skirt, pulled down her white summer pants and showed us five red parallel stripes across her buttocks.  All three girls had been caned.

The detail that I found surprising was that it was five strokes - there are plenty of examples of extracts from school punishment books on the internet to give us an idea of what was normal practice. Overall, the majority refer to caning on the hand and are typically one, two or three strokes - sometimes all on one hand and sometimes on both - so rarely more than six strokes in total. Where there are references to caning on the bottom it seems to almost always be two, four or six strokes. The examples of caning on the hands are often for relatively trivial offences like talking in class.  At schools like mine that level of offence would generally have led to writing lines or an after-school detention whereas caning across the bottom was only for really serious offences - I never heard of a case where they didn't get either four strokes or six strokes.  So, as I said, five sounds strange - however, the book is all drawn from first hand accounts so I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of the story.   

Curious to know from friends across the pond whether in schools an the USofA there is any tradition of inspecting the marks after being paddled at school?

I do appreciate that some people will react negatively to this post because it is self-evidently non-consensual. However, in defence I would point out that it has been posted on the website of the UK newspaper The Sun so it is very much out there already.  Under the headline Moment raging woman uses plank to whack bare buttocks of randy couple she caught have (sic) sex in bush in Russia, there is a short account of what happened with some stills and the video.  I think most people would assume there are some significant risks in completely getting naked (as the girl appears to have done) or even partially naked (as per the guy) while you're in a bush.  Sharp twigs, stones and maybe even nettles come to mind as evident hazards.  What they probably weren't expecting was for their antics to catch the attention of a nearby resident who take matters into her own hands.  I do find it discriminatory that she whacks the guy five times and the girl only twice - in this age I feel more equality is called for - but she does appear to lay on some pretty hard swats so I'm sure the girl would have got the message concerning the woman's displeasure and had some very red marks to show for it.  The video quality here isn't great although it is quite a bit better on The Sun's page. Those familiar with the newspaper in question won't be surprised that the comments of readers were totally unsympathetic to the victims and all on the side of the woman.
